- After 2 years we finally have some more information of the incredible music of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, such as who composed what and the names of the songs. This video takes a look at a handful of these songs so enjoy :) I also apologise for mistranslations I don't speak Japanese lol.

Just as a side note, there is a composer in here named Yusuke Takahama who I don't believe has composed for any other Yakuza game so consider him a guest composer. He did all the Can Quest songs.

Unfortunately, we still don't have any information on the Kiwami 2 tracks beyond a few they released ages ago, but this OST shows us that Chihiro Aoki handled the arrangement of Outlaw's Lullaby in Kiwami 2, known as Lullaby of Outlaws. So creative. Anyway, check the description for some links to the full OST or the discographies of all the different and wonderful composers for the Yakuza franchise.
Also I apologise if there are any mistranslations. If there are, go ahead and blame Google. Don't blame me definitely wasn't my fault. Not at all...
Chihiro Aoki really is the MVP of this soundtrack, and Shoji is still kicking ass after 15+ years. Good job on making these composer videos! really digging it

So basically I can thank Chihiro Aoki for a lot of my favourite songs from this OST. What a queen. Also this is the first time Theory of Beauty has been available officially because we still don't have the OST for Yakuza 6.

My god, I just realised by now that Enter the tiger is actually sampled from "Tiger flute" in the Yakuza 0 ost. And I believe that Chihiro even worked on that song...
Is it really? But also Aoki didn’t compose Tiger Flute but that’s not to say that she didn’t have any input on it. Maybe both songs actually sample tiger noises. Ya never know

That's a mouthful but pretty cool
The true bangers for me were:
- Mabuchi's theme (great track even for a backstabbing pig like him).
- Receive You remix (Majima & Saejima theme)
- The Millennium Tower theme (probably not as cool as Lots of Lights from Y6, but still amazing)
- Tendo's theme (wonderful for a final boss theme).
Oh yeah, I can't stand the dungeon track, puts me on my nerves.
I think the dungeon theme on its own is fine but in game it feels like a 2 second torture scene on repeat for an hour lol
I remember somebody saying The Way Of Life and Kiryu's Theme in 7 sounds a bit similar in the start, and now it makes all the sense.
Kiryu got into hiding mainly because of Iwami, and now his theme in 7 kinda reflects it but it turns mellow because he founds peace, this woman is legit incredible man.
Holy shit you were quick with this one. Gotta say Chihiro Aoki and Hidenori Shoji surprised me alot with this soundtrack. And apparently Chihiro Aoki made the majority of my favorite tracks for Y:LAD so she indeed based as hell.
I'm starting to think they should both share the title of Jack-of-all-trades cause damn, what can't they do at this point?

I admitted that I really like the soundtrack name, because it great to know the full name of some of the Battle Theme (Especially Yokohama Crackhouse :v) and the ending of some of the song is so great (with The ism Between Light And Darkness, Receive You ~ Over the Dragon Wall, The Brutality of the Confrontation, and Coin's Scratchers).
My ear are now really blessed and Chihiro Aoki is really based.
Bruh how did Chihiro Aoki manage to give so many absolutely BOPPIN themes in this game? I always thought Shoji was the King but it looks like Chihiro Aoki is now the Queen of these damn OST’s.
Also surely they dropped this OST because they’re about to release a trailer for Yakuza: Like 2 Dragons, or Yakuza 8, or Yakuza: Like a Ryu ga Gotoku, or even better, Yakuza: Ryu ya Gotoktwo?
Chihiro Aoki did Sawashiro's theme too? I feel like she's done almost all of the music I love most in this game!
I can't believe I just went by a lot of those Aoki tracks without listening to them, but having them now isolated I realize of how good they can be. Thanks for your work !

I mean no disrespect to Yakuza's many talented composers, but Aoki might just be the best composer in the series.

I think Chihiro Aoki is pretty much on par with Hidenori Shoji. She’s released so many fantastic bangers and great ambient/menu themes. Looking forward to hearing more of her work in future titles. I do also love 83 Key’s style and most of my favourite tracks are made by him

I mean she has all the talent in the world for it, and has proven it twice, but letting Chihiro Aoki take some of the more major conducting roles for LAD and LJ (which she led) is surprising. Mostly for LAD which I didn’t know about until this video. I welcome that fact entirely

I legit wonder what would happen of Hideki Sakamoto came back to do a Yakuza OST once again like he did on Y2. Man literally carried the OST by doing almost all the songs. Sad he didn't return for K2 or at least give permission to remix the themes.

Don’t think so :/ I don’t know if it was in any of the other games OSTs though like Lost Judgment for example. But at the very least it doesn’t seem to be in LAD’s

I wish I liked 7's OST more. Outside of remixes from other games (or franchises in the case of the substory battle theme), Enter the Tiger might be the only song on the entire ost that I like.
