- Here is a chance to win a little piece of Tony North Eastern. I am giving away a Hornby waiting room. pre weathered all you have to do is tell me in the comments how of these was built for the layout originally. simples good luck. also a new project has started, a garage for Tyne Dock with a new road planned its all happening again...
Hi Tony, great update. There's a lot of pleasure in kit bashing and you do it so well.................John.
Hi John, especially when the kit comes free with a magazine. thanks again for your input cheer's Tony
Hi John. yep that's true, kit bashing is fun. all the best Tony
Hi John, yep you got that right, kit bashing is more fun than building the kits if that makes sense...cheer's Tony
Thank You John, if you can not bash kits what else can you bash....spuds but its not the same. all the best Tony
Tony, you have done wonders with making that garage and the lean to has just finished it for me. There must have been an era when planning permission was not so tight and anyone could through up a lean to at the end of a building. Not sure if it is a North Easton thing, but a bit down south, I can't remember seeing the folding doors on the outside, they always folded on the inside. But what the heck it is a great real to life construction and looks great.
Barry.Devon
Cheer's Barry. I should have thought about the doors a bit more, but when I had marked the doors out they where going to be two large doors, then the idea just hit me. they should have been made to folded to sit in the middle of the door frame so the can take the weight, in theory....but yes they do look the biz....thanks again always good to hear from you...Tony
Hi Barry. thanks again for comment always look forward to receiving them. the folding doors where a last minute idea not properly thought through. still not a bad job. thanks again Tony
Hi Barry, the garage doors was a on the spot change. they should have been fitted central to the door span. thanks again. all the best Tony

Hi Dave, I googled old garages and not many small garages came up. especially from the 1940s 50s. but mostly I guess they where nothing but old barns and large sheds, with a building attached on the side. all the best buddy Tony
Cheer's Dave, garages come in all shapes and sizes. in the sixties and seventies it all changed with the concrete concourse and canopys. thanks again best wishes Tony.

Hi again Tony. I have been watching some of your old videos, including the building of the footbridge. The Birch Hall Inn, nicely built in white. Could it be that you are familiar with a wonderful lttle pub not 20 minutes walk from Goathland? And actually I think you bought 3 platform shelters but only painted 2,
Hi Tony. thanks again for commenting. all shelters where painted and weathered. cheer's Tony
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN But you are not answering my question about the Birch Hall Inn at Beck Hole
Hi Tony . sorry about forgetting the question. yes we stayed at beck hole for a week. and bought the pub at the model railway centre. they have cottages you can rent, and that where we stayed and ventured down to the pub of a evening. it was good fun trying to get back up the hill in the dark as there are no lamp post to guide you back...great little place to visit would do it again many thanks Tony
Congratulations to Paul Norvel, the winner!! WooHoo!!

Just caught up with your last two videos on the upper level, It's all looking great there, on the opening of this video in the yard may I ask is that embossed cobblestone sheets or the Metcalfe card sheets,
Regards Mick
Hi Mick, I think the cobles are wills plastic sheets or slatters, I did do a video on building the diesel yard some time back. they are plastic sheets that I know for sure. hope this helps. cheer's Tony
