The full Roush exhaust is too raspy, but just the Roush axel back on a stock exhaust is just sooooo good.
I prefer the Corsa exhaust, more rumble less hi end tone

Na borla is best on mustangs, corsa is best on Vettes. I've owned both on my mustang
A little late on this comment.. I'm torn between the sport and the xtreme. I have a base model 2020 GT and I plan on keeping the stock manifold. I want to turn heads but I don't want to be obnoxious. Does anyone think the sport is the way to go for me?

Nice review! I pretty much agree with everything. Like I've said before and I own the Corsa Extreme, catless go sports and cats go extreme unless you want it stupid loud then go extremes with headers and no cats !

I just bought the double H corsa sport system from lethal performance. I thought I was getting the "extreme system" lol. However now I'm glad it's the touring mufflers "hence sport system" as I don't want to be stupid loud and someday I might run headers. I also plan on tracking the car someday and the extreme might annoy other drivers on the track.Thanks for the video bud. Nice ride btw

A cat delete makes a huge difference on overall volume and rasp!
Don’t let the sound of the video deter you. Roush sounds good in person! It’s not an Obnoxious sound at all. It’s a mustang, I want rumble at every gear imo lol

I wouldn't trade my roush exhaust with kooks headers for anything . Sounds like a true beast. Isn't drone or rasp in the sound on my setup. 700 rwhp on on 93 and 812 on e85. This car sounds ridiculous when u give it just the right touch of the pedal.
I love my loud and deep rumble Roush!! Paired it with a Steeda H pipe. The Corsa sound nice in this video. Usually in person the Corsa extreme sounds way to loud and raspy. Can't go wrong with either one though.

For the people that think this is too high pitched, I would recommend the flowmaster outlaws. Its a really deep grow and not as raspy as the others.

I have a 2017 Mustang GT premium. I have been watching videos for 3 years now trying to decide on a exhaust that I can live with. I've listened to plenty of advice on several exhaust systems. I am 57 years old and have been through the, "I have a car hear me roar" stage of life. I just want something a little louder than the stock muffler, something that turns heads on startup but doesn't cause a snarling stare as I drive away. An exhaust that's not so loud as to have the neighborhood/town hating me but a nice controlled audible sound that won't anger people and make them say, "there goes that a@#hole" and I definitely don't want the police to know me on a first name basis. After watching this video I think the Corsa Sport Cat-Back seems to fit those parameters at the moment. Any comments or suggestions would greatly appreciated.
The corsa sport would definitely be a great option, I agree you can get an exhaust too loud!
I chose the Roush Axle back and there’s no drone whatsoever. I too didn’t want the overly loud exhaust, the roush is loud when I step on the gas but quiet during regular driving.
I'd go with the active exhaust option

Dang I was really doing research between the two, but I do think Corsa sounds better overall just because it's not as raspy as Roush. Although I'm going to be pairing it with an offroad h pipe because I love the deep tones and rumbles more than the x pipes.

The extremes have drone, but with that being said your driving a muscle car with exhaust o have the Roush xpipe and mufflers its loud enough with the cats but I have the blower too.. I do not like the wrasp though the sports sounds good!! Nice informative video, I don't care about drone though it fits the car, a muscle car!!
That’s true! I was honestly surprised on how little drone the Corsa provides for the amount of volume it produces, it’s a great exhaust!
The Xtreme does not have drone. I've had it and the Sport catback. Neither drones even a little.
@@BmacRDX I've heard otherwise but like I said in my comment who cares if it has drone, your driving a car with a V8 many people say the same drone shouldn't really matter.. my car has slight what you call drone I guess I don't care still pops and crackles that's what I like plus making over 700hp its all in good fun!!!

Why subject yourself to the headaches and annoying resonance that is all encompassing when you don't have to, and can still have a car that's loud AF? You've "heard" incorrectly, it doesn't drone. It's very, very loud, and the bald eagles sing, but no drawbacks (maybe the price, but well worth it). I switched from the Xtreme to the sport catback because it was just a bit too loud and exceeds many racetrack or SCCA group sound limits.

I agree with a few here. Nice review. HOWEVER! Damnit, I am not convinced that the aftermarket exhaust is superior to the stock exhaust design by "Master Degreed Engineers" that incorporated everything involved in the last decades. I have a stock exhaust on my 2016 Mustang GT with a Premium Package and Performance Package. Yeah, it cost me an arm and a leg, but I don't feel the need to change a damn thing on the car. It is fast enough, it is loud enough that I'm loud n proud just idling through my neighborhood without pissing anyone off. Y'all can replace the "engineered" parts with after-market parts, but essentially it doesn't make a difference in performance, it only says "Hey, look at me, loud n proud". Really? The only thing I would consider upgrading for my Stang is a Supercharger and what comes with the needed hardware. Other than that, what is the point? No one is the fastest out there unless you go Pro, even then you will get beat 100 times over. I'm happy with my set up, maybe cuz I'm too old to deal with the hype. At least I don't get pulled over even though the cops look at me constantly. I'm good. O'de to being young and naïve again.... LoL

Mine popped but I also was catless, not sure with a cat. I would assume it would pop a small amount still

The setup on this car included the xpipe, delete. This car also had a cat delete which added to the volume

Mines catless if that makes a difference. Also some people report the tone changing after 1k miles on it

Sean the Goonzquad guys put an armytrix system on their Mustang and it's pretty bad ass! I had cutouts on my last Camaro which made it a bit obnoxious sometimes according to other people but I liked it. With the cutouts you can pick the time and the place! Your Mustang is looking great man!

Good thing about roush it keeps your warranty on your car to since its considered a ford product..
From what I’ve read exhausts don’t effect the warranty. Damage would have to have been impacted from the exhaust which wouldn’t make a difference. Worse case you could swap it back
Ahh i just bought a 2019 and they had told me rousch doesnt affect warranty but others could.

Corsa extremes are the perfect sound and volume imo. Roush is loud and not in a good way to me....it sounds sloppy. Corsa has a great rumble down low and almost exotic sound up higher. It's like 2 exhaust in one

not totally agree, it’s too expensive, i have arh catted long tube header with h pipe and roush axle back, welding two magnaflow 10416 straight muffler on the h pipe, the tone is deep and clean, hi pitch scream when wot, this is perfect customized combination for long tube header
AWE Touring Catback are better than both of these. And if anyone thinks that Roush Catback or Roush Extremes, Corsa Extremes, or even the Borla ATAKs are too loud then stay away from the more ridiculous AWE Track Edition. Your welcome!

My fiance has the MBRP race cat back with long tubes... It sounds amazing... The tone is very unique... You would just have to hear it in person... Buttttt... The drone :(

When in doubt leave it out! No one is convinced on one particular exhaust setup! This is good for diversity, but hey man , not good for the pocket! Once you make a decision to get rid of your stock setup let it be!

@@VEDEMRACING99 Exactly. My very first set up was cheap Flowmaster Outlaws with O/R H pipe. That set crippled my ears for so long I was running Borla Touring for 2 years, lol. Now Borla Stingers which is similar to Corsa Sports and couldn't be more happier with free flowing exhaust of course. Thanks for the great content 👍
