The cat stereotype is not always true.. My cat comes RUNNING to greet me at the door when I come home, or when he comes back from his outdoor adventures, and then rubs my legs and wants cuddles for the next 10 minutes (he is so excited he even refuses to eat). I don't put him on a leash when we're out coz he just follows me like a puppy - he even goes jogging with me. He comes when he's called, he's talkative, so loving and caring. He's happiest just by my side ❤ PS I used to be a dog person and despised cats, until I got a cat

Don't know why there's a stereotype about cat being unbothered when their human comes back home. I sit in next room to work and everytime I come see my cat he greets me. Same was with my friends cat. Whenever we used to go out and come back he used to greet us. He even did that when I was away for a week and then back.
Most cats don't, so that's why this is a stereotype. It doesn't mean that all cats don't greet their owners.

GUYS! Why are all the comments hating on each other for liking an animal. Personally I think that the dogs and cats can be completely different from the video. I have several dogs and am allergic to cats, but that doesn't mean that I don't love my friends cats who are so sweet and playful. I think that all animals are different and we all need to understand that animals are different and we should love them all equally and respect others opinions rather than hate on them.

I love and have had quite a few of both, and this presentation is right on the money. Not all dogs love baths, though. I had one cat who jumped into the shower with me every morning.

My cats cry the entire time I’m gone from home and rush to greet me when I get back. Cats tell you they love you by bumping their head onto you, slow blinking and sleeping with you. They can be very affectionate, it’s just not as obvious as dogs.

I like dogs and cats equally. Most people that prefer dogs over cats say that cats are lazy, but honestly not all are. (My cat is more energetic than most dogs.) And to people that prefer cats over dogs and say dogs are too messy, they can be messy, yeah, but a lot aren't. (Usually puppies are only messy.)
So that's what I wanted to say. I'm just sick of people saying "Dogs are better" or "Cats or better", lets just say that the two animals are very different and have their own pros and cons. ☺

I have 5 cats myself. The reason I prefer cats over dogs is because cats are independent but also love you and see you as a friend. They will also trust you if you treat them right. Dogs are not independent. They rely on their human for help. And dogs need constant attention.Also if you accidentally step on your dogs foot they will think it’s on purpose. If you did that with a cat they would forgive you.
