This guy reminds me of myself. I was a Homosexual that hated God and even called myself an atheist. I spoke horribly of God and His Word because I didn’t want to accept that my lifestyle was a sin. I wanted God to accept my sin and It seems like that’s what this person wants too, hence why he wants to rewrite the Bible so badly. But God Humbled me and I had no other choice but to accept the truth and I don’t regret it at all. Walking away from my sin and following Jesus was the best thing I’ve done in my life. It’s not too late for this guy, pray for him that the mercy of the Lord may reach him. If I was as deep in darkness as this man and God pulled me out of it, He is definitely more than powerful to do it for this man as well.

Before I repented and asked Jesus into my life the one thing that really irritated me was hearing from a Christian that I was a sinner and need to get right with Jesus. While I agree that sermons on worldly influencers like the man in the video would be very helpful and maybe even key, most pastor's I think have a lot on their plate.
My pastor has to balance a family life with being involved in church renovations, keeping up with our foreign ministry, etc.
My elder team plans out it's sermon calendar on a yearly basis. We have spent all of June in a sermon series that deals with homosexuality because of pride month.
As well there may be people out there who simply need to hear a sermon on something like the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego like I did when I was in my first year of being born again.
So all in all, I think this is where Ray Comfort can help out the local Pastor by tackling hot button issues that the local guy who has so much to juggle already may not be able to keep up with.

In order to understand the world's wickedness one must first examine the ides of creation with a critical mind. Here's a 'logical' argument; God created everything. God created everything out of matter. Matter is imperfect because it constantly changes. Adam & Eve were made of matter. Adam & Eve were created imperfect. Imperfection is another name for sin. Conclusion; Adam & Eve didn't choose to make the wrong decision. They were inherently incapable of following every command because god created them imperfectly. As a result of having created imperfect beings god decides to punish Humankind for all eternity even though their imperfect behavior is the result of imperfect creation which they had no choice about. How's that for a merciful, loving god?
