Comparison and Review of Crafting Tapes

thanks Jenny! Another one (and my personal fave) is X-pressit tissue tape from Copic. Believe it or not it is an amazing tape, and you get over twice as much compared to Scor-tape at a lower cost!! Yep...blows me away!!!

This is great. To know that all three are practically identical. Therefore in the smaller sizes I will use other tapes besides Sookwang Score Tape. But 4", 5" and 6" wide tape. Stick to the Sookwang because the others don't come in those sizes.

Thanks for this video on the different tapes. I have different kinds but never could figure out if there was a difference. Now I know; there is no noticible difference.

great comparison of the adhesive tapes. I am not tried all of these brands so I will keep on the look out for the brands other than score tape just to give them a try. thank you for the excellent process video. susan

I also found a Japanese version at Daiso. Small quantity but pretty good price. I use the paper backed adhesive if I am not worried about boxes falling apart; for that U use the red plastic lined tape.

I LOVE Scor-Tape! Do you know if Scrappy Tape is the exact same thing? I've seen it on a couple of online stores, and it's somewhat cheaper. I love that I can get Scor-Tape on Amazon - not the cheapest place to get it, but I'm an Amazon Prime person, so I'm not paying shipping or buying other things to GET free shipping! :-)

LOVE all of these! So much easier to use than red-line tape! Love being able to tear it and not use scissors like red-line. And I hate that the red-line backing is so static-y and a pain to use!

Speaking of cheap! When I first got into paper crafting, I used Darice tape and much to my dismay, after a while all the cards I gave my hubby began to fall apart and the tape bled through the paper. Does anyone know if ScorTape does this please?
