All jokes aside, hair can’t train. It’s got a shape determined by genetics. You can lock hair into different shapes with heat (blow drier/straightener), but it will go back to its original shape once it gets washed. Hair can’t remember or recall a certain flow or shape.

@@Bottle_of_airYTkeep going to different barbers. You want volume wet your hair towel dry that shi and put some gel or putty in it and it'll stay super fluffy. You want curly hair get a perm.

Find a a barbershop with good reviews and just keep going to different barbers (if you don’t like how the first one cuts it) until you find somebody you like.

That's why you go to salon. Fuck barbers. Only care about taking your money and doing it so they can move onto the next client. While a hairstylist will actually listen to you talk and offer suggestions on what he think would look best. That's why thet are called stylists. Cause cutting hair is actually an art for them and they want to put their own touch on things/ use high quality products etc. Also this guy could of just showed him a picture and it would of been crystal clear on what he wanted. No one's fault but his own.

I mean we didn’t see the rest of the consultation. Dude probably wanted it super short on the sides but not taken too high up so what’s left on top doesn’t just fall over. Looks pretty good. Front hair isn’t too too straight. He probably wanted to take a good length off and it came out nice and relaxed. Sides blend in pretty well with the top and it’s nice and short.

He never said he didn't want it short. He said that other barbers will make the sides bald but the hair on top will fall and cover it anyways. That's because those barbers weren't cutting ENOUGH off the top, leading to an uneven/bad blend. There are cuts in this clip, which means we obviously didn't see the entirety of the consultation.
