In “Stray” in a library that can be found in the slums, if you enter then walk to the right, on the top of the bookshelves to your right, there is a red book with a gold paw print on the cover. The paw has a number 2 on it. This is a reference to the journals in “Gravity Falls”
I love you
@@Chebito710 and I love you, random citizen!
I haven’t even finished the game but I’m considering restarting just to find that detail
Geez, I just found that reference in the library which makes me more happy as a gravity falls fanboy
@@mowowsheep2643 Bold of you to assume that they're a citizen
The camera in Stray: at the beginning it's B12 watching you through cameras and guiding you forward with screens etc, so it's B12 nodding when you meow. Also if you lay down to sleep in Stray on PS5 your Dualsense will start purring and haptic feedback will start to imitate that rumble vibration when cat is sleeping on your lap
Also there is an achievement for sleeping for an hour in game. If you get the robot in the slums that plays music from sheets you find for him, he'll play those songs while you sleep, if you don't find them, he won't play anything.
Only works for PS5 for the purring, I got the game for PS4, and it doesnt have that effect
What
In "Stray" you can find a robot merchant who says "Some may call this junk, me, I call them treasures" which is a reference to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim where some merchant will say the exact same line, also there is another line from Skyrim where one of the robots will say "Took a screwdriver to the knee" which is a nod on "Took an arrow to the knee" which is a iconic line the guards from each of the holds would say
The knee line gave my the typical "Oh thats not a dead meme yet" sigh...
There’s also two robots that bare the resemblance to Marty McFly and Doc Brown from back to the future
dantdm noticed the second reference
The robot saying "i took a screwdriver to the knee" is also a reference to persona 5 as his name is Sojiro and is saying that he owned a cafe
In Stray you get a Harness that when put on makes your cat lay over and walk funny, just as they do irl. My boy Bagle eventually got used to it, just like the cat in the game.
Yeah, I noticed that too and was laughing for like 3 minutes straight.
This happens every time it puts on the harness as its part of the story
Another detail in stray is that if you walk through paint it will leave a trail of paint as you walk
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that
I've got it recorded but just didnt think it was that impressive, a lot of games do something similar.
@@CaptainEggcellent There's a detail in Antvilage (if i remember correctly).
There's a place, two robot play a game on the table, If the cat step on the table who playing majong or card? it'll messed up the game on the table
@@CaptainEggcellent another detail is cats being more farsighted especially strays, if u look through the cats vision and try to focus on an object in front of you it will be blurry compared to anything over 1-2 ft away :) thought it might be worth a mention ☺️
Another Easter egg in stray: in midtown, If you explore enough you can see a robot called sojiro sat at a bar and he talks about previously owning a bar himself and then taking a 'screwdriver to the knee' causing him to shut it down.
Sounds like another Skyrim arrow in the knee' reference!!
In “Fallout 4,” if you’re wearing the Silver Shroud costume, there’s unique dialogue options when you interact with characters from the DLC levels Nuka World, Far Harbor, and Automaton.
You sir, are a hero.
"You have an almost 100% chance of being infected", you have exactly 100% chance of turning from a bite, this game is simply merciless.
Also there are a few funny easter eggs hidden here and here in Project Zomboid. For example the Dev's studio or the Hoarder's house
Is "100% chance" still considered chance? lol
There's also Jason's house, the bleach drinker's house and the birthday party house to name a few. It's filled with Easter eggs and cool details.
Isn't there a chance of finding Jason Vorhees's body ?
Meowing in Stray gives various reactions when near bots, as well as the option to rub against certain bot legs, as cats do. There's a lot of hidden details in the game, just gotta look for em. Im personally in love with it. Also, if you rest in certain "rest spots" and leave it, the camera pans out to whatever extent depending where you are. Gives a good idea of how big the game truly is, good for if anyone wants to do a screenshot for backgrounds or what not. I found it a cool detail
Hey Captain! Another ee in Stray are the 2 robots you encounter later on called Seamus and Doc. Seamus wears clothing Marty McFly wears in the future (back to the future 2) and Doc looks like Doc Brown. Doc also gives you a weapon called the Defluxor which is a ref to the flux capacitor and in the game he also needs to charge that weapon with "1.21 gigowatts". These are all Back to the Future references. Anyway, great video as always Captain!
Pick up your cross and follow Jesus! The world is quickly headed for destruction, and sooner or later you will have to sit at the judgement seat and give an account for your actions. Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life! - Revelation 3:20.
Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God tho.
Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc and you should get a response. Have a blessed day!
@@Rekkuza-eu6sp ok thanks yes ok yes thanks ok
im not reading that
@@Rekkuza-eu6sp I know Earth is at the brink of ending, but idc about humanity anymore. We brought all of this to ourselves, and so we deserve to die in our own hands.
Also nobody asked for your Catholic rant.
Another Detail regarding bleach in Project Zomboid is that, if you were in a multiplayer server and you wanted to stealthily kill someone, you can put a tiny amount in food that you're cooking. This wont show any signs that it's been pensioned unless you put too much in it and after a while, that person will die.
Meow
the security cameras nodding was very much part of the story. if you got to the slums then you must have gotten b12, who was guiding you with the cameras and lights and signs. how did you not connect the dots lmao
Two more for stray. You will find a classic back to the future reference that is power related, and in the same location I found a red crowbar, which felt very half life.
literally that entire segment is back to the future related, even Seamus is wearing an outfit that looks like Marty's, down to the holographic hat
yeah and considering that the zurks are quite similar to headcrabs vissually id say its safe to assume the crowbar is a half life reference
@@anon380 And Seamus McFly is the name of Marty's Ancestor in BttF 3 in 1885.
@@anon380 and the power needed for the device is 1.21 gigawatts
Doc is literally just the dude from BTTF
0:23 u did not have to bring these embarrassing memories back up
There’s a Stray Easter egg where a robot in midtown would be talking about he was a bartender once until he took a “screwdriver to the knee”. A famous Skyrim reference
The reason the camera nods to you in Stray is because B-12 is in the network and is leading you to where he is
Exactly, it happens only at the beginning of the game up until you meet B12
I have an easter egg for stray.when you meet Doc and he tries to fix the UV gun or whatever it is he says that it needs 1.21gw to make it work. i think that this is a reference to back to the future
It is and doc looks like doc and shamus looks like Marty and the weapon he gives you is a reference to the flux compastor
3:01 I don't know why but this was really funny to me. Like how he was standing there and suddenly he felt down
The among us cheese one is that rare. I get it at least once every 5 games
Another cheeky detail from Stray is that the Zurk (the one that chase you)
is another reference to Headcrab from Half Life Series
Oh, cool! Jacksepticeye kept calling them headcrabs in his playthrough so that just makes it funny to me lol
In "Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath", if the "Sniper" unit is damaged, but alive (leaving the spotter), the lines will change representative of the spotter's panic.
Fun fact about the paper bag one in Stray: you get an achievement titled “curiosity killed the cat” when you put the bag on the cat’s head
In the avengers, sometimes when iron man uses his ultimate ability, he says "who you gonna call? Hulkbuster!!" Which is an obvious reference to Ghostbusters
Hm I love Stray, a Detail I found is that some Robots have an action where where you can go up against their leg and purr against it, these Robots show up with hearts on their monitors its so cute and adorable!
also one of the security bot ones has this interaction but if you brush up against his leg he gets scared lol
I remember that bag detail when I watched JSE play Stray. It was both hilarious and a little sad (tugging at the cat lover in me) to see.
In Fallout: New Vegas with the Wild Wasteland perk, the giant rats in Broc Flower Cave will be named "Rodents of Unusual Size", a reference to the movie The Princess Bride, where the giant rats in the Fire Swamp are called "ROUS", or "Rodents of Unusual Size". Lady Jane in Freeside will also quote the movie when prompted about the ROUS' saying "Oh I assure you, sir, they are very real and very large".
I think i have a detail and an easter egg, both of the same game, in stray, when you meow at the start of the game, the other three cats will meow too, however, if after falling to the depths you meow, you'll hear distant meows from the other cats, also in stray, some walls of some houses, for example on the apartment you meet B-12 the walls are very similar to the shining's carpet
Bag on the cat head is my favorite detail. Played Stray on my stream and just loved it.
In Project Zomboid the main menu shows an image that looks like a man holding his injured wife but if you wait long enough for lightning to strike outside the window you can see what is really going on.
He actually covered that in a hidden Easter eggs video
@@infiniteraide1642 must have missed this one
@@serson7139 No worries it happens
I'm not a big fan of Marvel, but god damn Guardians of The Galaxy was amazing
May its makers still make a sequel for it while doing the same for a possible Deus Ex: Mankind Divided sequel.
Idk if you added the camera thing because I mentioned it or not but I love that you put it in! Stray is amazing!

My friend bought this game the day it launched (and was also the first time I've heard of it), and she actually showed me this detail. And the moment I saw it, I just knew that this was gonna appear in a video. I'm not surprised it was in here, and it is a nice detail. Splendid work.

In Tetris Effect, if you activate Zone on the “Orbit” stage, a mission control count down can be heard as you clear lines towards the very top of the screen!
In stray when they first put a back pack on the cat the cat will walk lower to the ground like a real cat does when it wears something heavy
Yay, Stray is here. Also, nice to see HL: Opposing Force too. Keep up the videos showing old yet gold games and the new greats, Cap!
That Project Zomboid detail though. Brutal.
4:02: BACKRUBS!!!
In "Stray" you can find a reference to Skyrim's famous arrow to the knee
In midtown you can find a robot that owned a bar but took an screwdriver to a knee
The robot is drinking in a small bar/restaurant to the right of apartments
In "God of War" (2018) when you defeat the dragon in the mountains a dwarf gives you the ability to shoot electrified arrows. When the dwarf tells you how to use the arrows you can cut him off by shooting an arrow before he finishes explaining how to use them. Therefore he will notice that you didn't need his help with the arrows
Also in “Half Life Opposing Forces” you can quickly shoot Gordon when entering Xen
Also in Stray, there is a string of dialogue that you get if showing the outside postcard to Morusque. If you do that she will talk about how pretty the blue sky is and how she might make a song about it, it's possible that it's a reference to the song Mr. Blue Sky.
I've been recently playing Killing Floor 2 as the new Tidal Terror mode released a little while ago alongside a new map. I managed to actually find an Easter egg I have yet to see you cover! If you go down to the hospital level of the rig you will find on one side of the room a skinned man on a operating table, and coming out of his chest is what looks to be a chest burster from Alien. Love your videos and am always looking forward to the next release, with the hopes that my Easter egg may be featured in one! ♥️
Don’t forget an entire portion of Stray is dedicated to a Back To The Future reference
This may or may not be a reference, I don’t know, but in Clementine’s little computer room in Stray on the wall there’s a small drawing of a girls face on the wall. This could be a reference to Clem (Clementine) from the walking dead telltale series
It sure if it has mentioned before, but I am finally getting around to playing the wonderful Sifu, and noticed a rather apt detail for the time the game was made/released in.
On the Museum level, at every door there area a couple of hand sanitiser dispensers.
Great detail of modern times! 👍😄👍
More STRAY details: There’s a big back to the future Easter egg with Seamus and Doc. And a Skyrim Easter egg in antvillage
YES! As soon as I saw the cat put the bag on it's head in Stray, I was hoping the controls would inverse or something. Such a nice detail.
Stray has a reference to Doc from back to the future. Both in appearance and his gun requires 1.21 gigawatts. If no one's mentioned it yet.
i think jacksepticeye did
Another reference from Stray is that whn you need the power to set up the Defluxer light, Doc says it needs 1.21 gigawalts. His son and him were also both designed to look like the characters from Back to the Future. Like Doc's hair or his son Seamus has a jacket that is a reference to Marty Mcfly and Doc Brown.
I’m Stray in the ant village section if you talk to one of the people near the lower tree one will say “some may call this junk, me I call them treasures” a reference to Skyrim
On the new Hitman 3 map „Ambrose Island“, in the center of the map, in the right house on stilts, in a bathtub you can find a pinapple and a sponge.
Beautiful vid bro
I love those little details in games like the first entry. Recently bought We Happy Few and in the very beginning if you decide to take the Joy pill the game just ends. Had a good laugh at that one lmao
Reason the camera shakes when you meow at it is because the little b-12 robot is inside the cameras so when ever you meow at it it's like b12 is saying yes, also later on in the story you run into a robot called doc which yes is based of the doc from back to future it even says the phrase he uses on a piece of paper
In Chiccory, you can see that in the credits, the music is made by Lena Raine. This is the same person that composed "Pigstep" for Minecraft's Nether Update.
As a side note to the Stray fact, the cameras in that area are actually controlled by B12, your robot companion. That's how he knows you're coming and can help lead the way to finding him
Dunno if I remember it right, but small one for project zomboid.
Due to the bleach realistically burning away your insides, you wouldn't be able to survive as a zombie, thus, it "Cures" your zombification. Either that or it's the optimal way out.
In "Stray" if you talk to the dudes who tell you break the cameras in midtown, they tell you to break them for a cassette, however if you break the cameras first and then talk to them they have different dialogue
7:20 The cameras nodding I believe is B-12 trying to push us on- like trying to coax a pet to come somewhere
Up until you meet B-12, when you meow around something that lit up and is pointing you in the way to go, it will respond in some way
In stray there are several Back to the Future references.
There’s a weapon named after the Flux Capacitor, there’s 2 robots dressed as Doc and Marty and they mention the 1.21 Gigawatts
In stray there's an "arrow to the knee" reference, I believe it is in midtown, also the cat breathes a bit faster for a second after running, unless I was just seeing things.
Also in stray, when you meet doc, you might recognize that he looks like dr emmet brown. He will also say that the uv flashlight requires 1.5 Giga watts which is how much it requires to time travel
i have had notice that bone when you play as the among us skin i've had that before when i played it and i discovered that it was going to be in your details video thanks for this detail now i know why i got it
In stray there is an achievement for watching everything on tv, well one of the channels you go through has a reference to Starship Troopers. Its the channel that has a robot in a dark lab coat and zurks in a cage behind him.
At stray you can find a sad robot sitting in the bar and it says he used to do a bissnes like this but he got a screwdriver in the knee
In Halo 3, at the end of the game during the Warthog Run, if you stop just before the end and walk to the end of a platform, there’s a Grunt that will taunt you, and then beg for you to save it.
Pick up your cross and follow Jesus! The world is quickly headed for destruction, and sooner or later you will have to sit at the judgement seat and give an account for your actions. The cameras only nod in the first chapter, as B12 is controlling them. And another nice touch, while the game has no camera mode, or even a ui for that matter, there are two places where the game will give you an opportunity to take a nice photo. in Midtown there's a robot sleeping on a couch, if you jump up on him, the cat will treat it as a resting spot and the camera will start zooming out. A similar thing happens if you rest in Clementine's apartment window.
Did you know that in Mortal Kombat Deception during the Boss Fight with Onaga if you keep kicking him he'll actually cry out "No Kicking" like a younger sibling when they are getting beat by a more experienced player (it's easiest to do this on Easy Difficulty since it gives you more opportunity to damage Onaga rather than him just blocking
The cameras in Stray help you figure out where you’re supposed to go when you hit the meow button!
Detail suggestion : In stray if you meow in front of some robots, their facial expression changes for some time.
In Stray, you can strip over one of the robots in The Slums area, by walking in front of their legs, as they wander around the back alley area. It carries some sort of metal piece, but not sure if it serves any purpose, because I've tried tripping it so that it can drop the piece of metal, but it doesn't do anything.
Not sure if you’ve covered this before, but this is one of my favorite details I’ve discovered on my own. I’m Mortal Kombat 11, Rambo has a victory animation in which he slams the opponent to the ground and basically acts like he’s going to kill the opponent. If you use the victory screen on any character they will be rightfully terrified, but if you win against the terminator he shows no emotion.
The cameras in Stray move because B-12 is in the network at this point in time, meaning they're the ones observing you, realizing they have a potential ally in the Dead City to bring them a body to inhabit after hundreds of years uploaded to the Network.
In "Stray" in a ramen shop located in Midtown there's a single customer if you speak to him he says "I used to own a bar it was the coziest place around here, until I took a screwdriver to the knee, and its closed now." This is a reference to "Skyrim" when guards would sometimes say "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee."
I literally just found the camera nod Easter egg in Stray on my own last night, and my immediate reaction is that it would be on your channel
There's one similar to the Project Zomboid one in 7 Days to Die where if you eat broken you die aswell, with the object being described as "used to end it all if the apocalypse is just too much for you"
In "Stray" when Seamus sends you to find his dad, there's a line of dialoge that references back to the future. "1.21 gigowatts"
Idk if this was covered, but in FC5, if you help Nick Rye with his plane after he has been tattooed and had his sin removed, he will have different dialogue to reflect having already met
It's pretty interesting the resemblance between those creature things in stray and headcrabs
It was the opposite for me in 2020. You were allowed out for a walk. Suddenly my usually secluded walks around my neighborhood as I listened to old dramatized radio stories became crowded as people began walking just to have a reason to be outside.
The camera nodding in STRAY i believe is the AI that we befriend later (meowing also indicates the way to go by using various lights) so yeahh...it is related to the story
That dog one though, "music by Lena raine" she also worked on those minecraft disc's.
thanks for the video. i love your content
On the PS3 main menu you can make the sparkles in the background move by tossing your controller left or right. Don't actually throw it, but make the motion. Even at the main menu when they serve no other purpose, the motion sensitivity is still active.
another detail in stray is Doc and his son have the clothes and looks of Doc and Marty from Back to the Future and the "Defluxor" represents the reactor he made in film
In Stray, after you put the relay on the tower, B12 puts in a code to leave Momo’s flat. If you spam through the dialogue B12 will keep entering the wrong code until you slow down.
In “Fun With Ragdolls” there’s an Easter egg where if you go to the build mode and choose dominoes it says “Bigweld Used these!” Referencing to Bigweld from the robots movie by blue sky!
In Stray when you approach the defluxor doc will talk about the 1.21 gigawatts of power it needed to work and i think also doc looks like well of course doc from back to the future
Another detail in stray. There are a bunch of different characters in the game. All of the robots, other than B-12, are named after people that made the game. Pretty cool!
There Is also an italian reference into Stray, as a chef called Cannavacciuolo, there Is a robot called "Lattavacciuolo"
I think the cameras nod in Stray because B/12 is watching you through them because you haven't met them yet. They also admit themselves something along the lines of "i couldn't believe the cameras when i saw you"
In Stray there is a robot who says some famous dialogue from Skyrim
(I wish I had a bar like this but a screwdriver in my knee) and you know what he'll say next

Every time I watch one of his videos I just keep watching more and more
In stray you talk to the doc which is a refinance to back to the future but he also says 1.21 gigawalts and the flex comparator needs that much to work
In LEGO The Incredibles, while playing the “Elastigirl on the Case” level, there’s a secret room near the end of the maze where the Incredibrick is located. Simply walk into the wall to trigger it. Once inside the room there’s a pile of pizzas. Destroy it, build it, and it will turn into Pac-Man as well as a line of dots for him to follow, which will lead him to destroy a normally unbreakable shelf, revealing a purple stud.
I've found a back to the future Reference in the game when you talk with Doc later in the Story. At least I think it's there in the english Version too.
In "Stray" there are two characters you an meet. Seamus and Doc. Doc looks like a mad scientist, but when next to Seamus the reference is clear. It's Marty and Doc Brown from Back to the Future.
.
Also in Stray, near the end, you find a train. In said train, there is a crowbar on a seat. Hmmm, I wonder who it could belong to. :)
The Chicroy paint brush detail is similar to the start of Super Paper Mario, as refusing to take the first pure heart results in the end of the world and a game over screen.
My favorite detail in stray is if you meow at the robots they’ll faces of disgust, anger, surprise, or love
In battlefield 4 in campaign if your close to your squad they will talk normally, but if you are far away they will talk over radio
In the Lovecraft inspired detective game The Sinking City Going to the graveyard at the lower West of Reed Heights
You can interact with some graves and will give different and sometimes funny messages like
Jason Allen Brooks "Respawning in 3 2 1...
Connection lost"
And
Tatiana rudenko "forgot to turn god mode on
Would love to see an entire video on stray
In "Stray" there are missing/wanted posters for Wilson in the bar in the dead city and on some walls throughout the map
