I mean I know it's been a few years since Roy has been in the hood. But, character development wise that really didn't make sense for Roy to be beat that easily, he should have been able to easily take out all those men plus Emiko because he has had more extensive training and experience than all of them.
It did make sense that Roy wasn't easily able to take out a room of 9th Circle goons + Virgil, who has been shown to be a top fighter. As you said, Roy is kinda rusty, and he didn't exactly "lose"; He got knocked down by Virgil, who's one of the organisation elites alongside Dante and Beatrice, who are both also extremely skilled. It's not like they fought in a fair 1 on 1...
@@Carmi766 Not Really, he was train by: Oliver(Archery), Diggle(Military Combat), and Sara Lance(Combat) for 2-3years, He has a “Bezerker Mode” because of the side effects with Mirakuru and the Lazuras Pit which increase Strength/Speed/Abilities(Always wonder why they never did anything with that) *Spoiler* He’s also married to Thea who is the Leader of the League of Assassins making him leader by Marriage(Such as how Oliver was when he married Nyssa)
@@AMP.1994 that’s not how the league leadership works, he is not the leader of the league. Thea was heir to the demon because Malcolm had loyalists who made a new league and being the daughter of Malcolm made her Warith al Ghul. Oliver became Warith al Ghul because Ra’s wanted him too, he actually replaced Nyssa as Warith al Ghul. Nyssa was only Ra’s because Oliver killed Merlyn for her. Marrying the daughter of Ra’s al Ghul doesn’t make you Ra’s al Ghul
Ok, so did you guys see how many Ninth Circle goons Roy took out easily on his own? How come Oliver, who trained Roy, struggled against ONE Ninth Circle member in the episode before this?
Guess you could excuse it as Oliver being older and frankly sick of fighting his thousandth goon the determination to keep trying probably starts going down
@@andrewcruzsmith2343 not in the fight I’m referencing. In episode 19 of this season, Oliver and Diggle went up against one generic Ninth Circle member each, and it took them a while to bring those two goons down.

Plus Roy was retired and had to keep low profile
I think Emokio should have been able to take him. She was trained even longer than Oliver.

True
He went from fancy flips to a kick that put him on the flow
Roy is just trash

He hated how she was wearing red too
In the Comics she becomes the next Red Arrow
The music for this fight scene is epic.
How can I look it up any app
Lol Roy got a little stomach to him 😂😂 he still got it though he should have always stayed on the team
[ROY BREATHING HEAVILY]

Wasn't he fighting Dante, a seasoned member?..
