1970s Soultrain, a dance called the ROCK STEADY and BREAKDOWN. People forget how influential SOULTRAIN was. You can still see the dances on line. Lockin was first seen national in 1970 on SoulTrain.

He was talking about "ditty boppin'". Stepping off, with a "bop", while holding your Johnson. This is an early 80's thing. Niggaz used to walk around with 1911 Colt .45 caliber pistols, and 38 Specials, which were heavy, and created a certain "walk", within stick-up kids, and gun toting thugs. This walk was noted, amongst the kids, from the neighborhood, that wanted to emulate the aforementioned, thus cementing the "hard rock" image, implemented by outlaw kids, in the 70's. 80's, just gave it Hip-Hop flavor. I know. I was one of them.
What's your name, by the way? "Bronx Legend", is a pretty steep, self proclaimed title. If you're indeed a legend, state your name. It should ring bells, if your claim of "Bronx Legend" is factual.
