Just swapped my throttle on my pioneer hover 1 thank yo. your video got me up and running again quick part was easy for even a first timer with this
Great info for me thanks for taking the time to post this. I took my alpha out for a spin yesterday and felt a little current on my thump on the silver ring part on the throttle and a little from the brake lever. About like when you put your tongue on a weak transistor battery, no error codes, scooter still worked. After a bit the problem went away. Strange. I have the best buy extended warranty still for couple of months yet so I won't touch it if it fails but after that I might after the warrantys up. Great timing for this video just the day after. It's been bone dry the last 4 or five days into the nintys the last two, here in the pnw, fingers crossed. Going for a spin after while, I sort of hope it quits so I can just take it back and they'll give a new one rather than try to fix it myself. Good to know how to, thanks again, this video may save the day.
At least you know it's not that hard a job, that's a plus. I have had a couple people ask me about this so when i had the chance to do it i did.

If you have a small air compressor you can blow air under the grip and it makes it easy to pull them off if you blow air while you pull it off

Nice video. I have a problem with a hover 1 pioneer scooter. On the screen the battery and cruise indicator blinks.just blinks and don’t stop. Don’t get power (throttle response at all). I’ve changed out parts, still nothing worked. I’m clueless on what to do now.

Your video is is so informative but I have a question.....I ordered a throttle but the wires coming out of it are not nearly long enough to go from the throttle to the board. Where did you find the correct throttle replacement? BTW I got everything disconnected except the old throttle due to not having the correct allen wrench!

Just wanted to say at 54 years old, this grandma did this repair by myself with the exception of, when popping off the headlight cover, you still can't fit the wires through unless you remove the 3 screws under the headlight cover (my son in law helped me discover that). My grandson was thrilled I was able to fix this for him with your help!

Mine starts driving then cuts power if I feather throttle like barely hut it I and keep doing that I can run it but if I oush right down on it just cuts out. Any idea if this could be issue or something else?

Amazon has a replacement throttle I noticed the other day, maybe that info will help somebody. 20$. Two flats on my alpha front and rear. Taking off the top deck, the screw in the front was froze so tight it wouldn't come put, probably rusted, I was able to pull it up from the back far enough to get to the motor wires and unplug them, I noticed the yellow bullet connector was burnt. Fixed the tire put it back to gather and within two miles got an error code 6. Scooter done, returned to best buy under extended warranty that they no longer sell and came back with a segway g30p max. Best buy looks like it's going downhill pretty quick since last year only open 1100 to 7 now,. Hope this helps someone. P.s. they no longer have anyscooters other than the max in stores no hover"s cost me 500 over the price of the alpha with the store credit.

Did you replace it with the one from the Eskute? That one is a much newer and much nicer scooter.
