    Honestly, you are not only helping RTs and physicians but mostly the patients. Their life matters. Your reward is GREAT!

    Great video. However it's missing crucial information like resolution and other parameters that might help starting techs.

    Wait. Your website says after the first T2 axial we should set the T2 Coronal and then the T1 coronal and saggital fat sats. Is the order of doing them important?

    Once I was training mri students and as a obvious joke I told her to go ask the radiologist how thin he likes the axial through the pituitary, and since she didn't know, she went and asked him. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      does mri with pituitary protocol use contrast or can it be done without?

    • @veroka7851
      @veroka7851 Před 4 lety

      alison madell when you go to your appointment they have to do both. One without and one with iv contrast.
      I’m supposed to get an mri with contrast bc they suspect I have a pituitary tumor, my prolactin level is 137. I don’t wanna do it with contrast. Have you read alll the tings that could happen? One of them being Extreme joint pain. Gadolinium, the metal liquid they use combined with something else to “make it safer” can still leak and cause these adverse effects. Most of it will be eliminated in your urine. But you will never get rid of all it. In fact Gadolinium will leave deposits in your brain, organs, skin, and tissues; plus it accumulates every time you get it.
      I dk what to do. My doctor is insisting that I get the contrast. But I really don’t think I can go through with it after all the horror stories I’ve read. So many ppl end up in a wheelchair. Bones debilitating, thickening of the skin, skin breaking. This shit is extremely toxic just bc they bond it with a safe substance doesn’t mean gadolinium still won’t leak inside our bodies. The effects are sometimes seen after only 24 hours, other times after 10 weeks and other after years. Some people are not affected at all, others are affected greatly by only ONE dose of it.
      I’m sorry I don’t mean to scare you but you should do your research if you haven’t already.

      @@veroka7851 thats exactly why i was asking, i need to do contrast mri and contrast pet scan, i dont want to do it but doctors say every one does it. doctor says he want to check for cancer but isnt a ct scan without contrast enough? i will continue to research until i find the safest way, yes i have also read those stories about gadolinium toxicity
