They came from Hellas later day Greece. It’s just how it is it cannot be changed. I propose a statue of Pythagoras by the main entrance. And he never wore a cap.
With all due respect to brother Hamza Yusuf, he wastes long time in absolutely academic information about the language where most people don't need to know.
Sheyk Hamza, you are one of the most notable and popular of the ulema in North America. You have not done enough to speak up for Palestine. Your parents were activists in the 1960’s so you know full well the effectiveness of protests, speaking out, not staying quiet, and even civil disobedience. No one doubts that your heart aches for Palestine, but you have an obligation to speak truth to power, to not couch your words in careful abstractions. You have not done for enough for Palestine and we will not forget this.
By making sincere dua and donating and educating people he has done far more than any of those ‘activists’ who wave placards and shout on the streets. Protests help but they’re not the only way.
Yeah he does that a lot 😅 It might be because the audience is mostly people studying Islam, and he mentioned (1:49:55) that it’s hard to learn Islam at an academic level without a solid foundation in Arabic.
Thank you for uploading this. Sheikh Hamza Yusuf is a delight to listen to. ❤
Wow, I just stumbled across this. Thanks for uploading. This needs to get more circulation.

Please continue to sit on the sidelines. Palestine does not need any more “passive resistance” types.
@@user-user-user-user. as all you do is comment online. To say that Dua is passive resistance is absurd. Please go and learn your religion.

I love Sheikh Hamza but I don't understand why use so much Arabic translating only partially to audiences that are mostly non Arab
Yeah he does that a lot 😅
