  • Here is a great video of one of our customers using two 23,500 gallon Dryhill Frac Tanks, hooked together back-to-back, connected to a 36' Bazooka Toolbar that is applying 20,000 gallons per acre out in the field. The Frac Tanks were being filled throughout the day by nine 9,200 gallon trailers coming from a dairy farm that is 8 miles away. In a 9-hour period of time there was approx. 1.3 million gallons of manure moved! All tank trailers and Frac Tanks in the video were provided by Hainsworth Farms LLC - check out our website for more information www.HainsworthFarms.com, or call Chuck at (585)734-3264.

How many miles away from your pit do you figure it takes to make a frac tank and truck transport more economical than simply hauling it with tractors and tanks the whole way?

Depending on the field size the larger field the better and any time you have mismatched equipment like if you have an 8400 gallon tanker and only a 7500 gallon spreader a frac tank is a great option. Guys love it for anything past 2 miles but it really is night and day and adds so much more safety by not sending a guy back with 1500 gallons in the back. We have sold over 50 of these Frac tanks and guys brag about how its like having another guy on the road without having to pay for one. It adds about 30-35% efficiency each day
