I'm glad you're being kind to yourself with your games. I enjoy watching tbr games and I never care if people complete them. It's just reading and reading is fun or escapist for me. There's been a lot going on with my family too so I completely understand taking a break. Praying it starts going better for you and your family.

I’ve read Midnight Sun and it was a 3 star read. Not as good as the original. I felt like it was too drawn out. I got bored halfway through and had to take a break. But did eventually finish it.
I know that feeling. Been having a crazy time as well. One thing after another. I'm just trying to tell myself take care of one thing at a time. Hopefully things stop popping off soon.

Just an Fyi. Cataract surgery is a breeze as long as you follow your Doctor's instructions. I had both eyes done at once. Passed my DMV eye exam with no problem.

I'm sorry you're going through all of this! Maybe reading the Moonstone was a bad idea, lol. Glad you're back though. Cataract surgery is a common one and it rarely is unsuccessful, so I wouldn't worry too much about that, although I know that's easier said than done, lol. I will be needing that surgery in both my eyes within the next year or two as well, since I have the beginning of them. I know a lot of people who have had the surgery and there were no complications and in most cases, their eyesight got so much better after the surgery. Of course, with any surgery, there are risks, but it's very rare for it to turn out bad. That dog is so beautiful! I'm glad he found his Forever Home. I loved the Marlow Murder Club books! The third one is coming out soon, called, Queen of Poisons. Have a great day and let's hope this curse is over for you!
Life can be crazy, but no worries. We had the same thing happen to us. We live out in the country in Ohio and about 2 weeks ago we think someone dumped this beautiful cat. He's the is beautiful light creamy orange tabby, very soft and so friendly. He also hasn't been around other animals meaning he didn't try to hunt the wild bunnies and he came right up to the back door where 2 of our dogs were going bananas. We think he's between 1-2 years old and as much as we would have loved to keep him we have 4 dogs, 2 would have been his best friend and 2 would have probably killed him because they're German Shorthaired Pointers. We did name him Teddy and when I found a shelter that could take him because it's the height of kitten season we were happy and sad. It's a no kill shelter and we hope he gets adopted right away because all he wants is to be petted. He's going to make an amazing pet to whomever adopts him. We're going to keep an eye on their website and Facebook to see when he gets put up for adoption and when he gets adopted. It was getting dangerous for Teddy because he was getting in the dog pen and because he would follow you everywhere we worried that he would follow us across the street when we had to get the mail which was the other concern because we live on a state route and worried he would get ran over, plus this week in Ohio it's a heat wave with high humidity, so basically in the 90's feeling like 100 or as we say it feels like Florida. Your family is awesome rescuing and helping animals. 🩷🩷🩷 Hope Joey gets better and hey, don't worry about the cataracts, my mom was in her 50's when she got it. She got the surgery and never had to wear glasses ever again or so far, she's 73 now. Sorry, for everything else just life being life. 😊🩷🩷🩷🩷
