Ferrari's of this vintage are beautiful rolling works of art, but were made for 5' 6" Italian soccer players with girly feet, not corn-fed farmboys like Wizard. Good luck to the next owner to get it to the Finish Line!
BTW - my friend had a similar vintage Ferrari Mondial coupe. I'm 5' 10" and I barely fit it. The clutch, brake and throttle pedal box setup is tiny and offset to the right - and you need small feet to operate it properly. I felt claustrophobic driving it. I imagine Wizard felt the same way.
They are also very 'rustic' - not sure if anyone born in the age of power everything will appreciate it as much as us old folk that grew up on stick shifts, manual steering, and no AC. "Style before comfort" I always say!🤣

When the Wizard talked about the problems with the Testarossa and 308 fuse boxes, it confirmed what the Alfa guy said. Was really surprised hearing Jay Leno's opinion on Ferrari's. Good effort with the Ferrari but really illogical decision to go to fuel injection. One of the main reasons to get a vintage ferrari is the screaming sound of the intake and exhaust of carburettored engines at high revs. A long term vintage Ferrari mechanic commented on that Holley youtube video and regarding reliablility Weber carbs, once setup correctly, stay setup correctly for years and the airbox is not restrictive from factory; the Ferrari mechanic suggested the non factory cams on the engine might be the cause of any issues in the otherwise standard setup. Those Ferrari v8 engines are very reliable stock if maintained. Also stock 308s can be driven 1000s of miles all day long and are made for long summer touring trips without issue if maintained.
