It is amazing how well these mamas manage to carry 3 or 4, and in this case 5, kidlings! The only real problem with this birth was the size of the birthing pen! I haven’t followed them long enough to know if they take the kidlings away after a day or 2, milk the doe, and bottle feed the babes, but with five they likely don’t have any other option. The thing I love most about this video is the open and honest excitement of the human dads with the miracle of each birth! Raising farm animals is so humbling. Way to go, mama!!

I really wish people like you would stop telling farmers to stop breeding their animals? They know what to do. They don't need you to be the internet farmer Karens trying to tell them what to do or what not to do because you're worried about the "poor animal". And how do you know it's so painful for the animal or if it's not? Birth is natural and often yes painful for every animal. The fact that she had five is amazing. Let the farmers do their work. They know what they're doing.

Great job Connor with the edit. I'm just as breathless the 13th time I watch the birth as I was the first. Cairn was a pistol from the first, and Spot cried like a human baby, and has not changed. God bless Whinny! Nothing phases her. She just took it all in stride, not batting a lash. She just loved. Such a privilege to be a witness to this huge accomplishment. Missed this birth by an hour, was gutted, but was great seeing the babies the day they were born. They have come on great Winnie has been an amazing mum.
Beautiful thing to watch. Goats are just so cute. I suggest turn down or eliminate the music as it makes it hard to hear the conversation between the caretakers.
I hope she gets a break from breeding for a while. It's so difficult for the doe to carry and deliver so many kids. Bless them.
