It would be great if you could include measurements for the dog bed & for the main piece of the dog outfit. Also: measurements for larger dogs (I have 3 Retrievers) would be nice
Measure your dog..make the center a bit bigger then your dog. Then add probably 12 inches extra around. Cut the circle. Sew the center except 1 in. Stuff as much as you want it and finish it. Stuff The outside, feed the rope, pull snuggish, turn inside out
How about for the pajamas? How do we measure for those?
This doggie's bed pattern is just what I needed. I have a clean, old, New looking, sleeping bag. I didn't want to get rid of. I'll use it to make this bed. Thanks for your great idea's always.

I absolutely love that bed, how cute is pup enjoying it!! I've sewn these kinda outfits for our Westies but I go up little higher for boys so they can stay warm but still peepee when outside!!

I'm sure you all noticed she didn't give measurements for the template. which is fair bc there are so many different size dogs. I would simply take one of my dogs other outfits and use that as a template. if you are going to follow my intructions below then add 1 1/2" if not simply add 1/4" for a seam allowance. i would make the under side of the dog outfit a little shorter so when i take my dog out for a walk, when they need that extra warmth the most, i don't have to take it off, and i won't have to worry about them peeing on it. and it think i would mak a simple hem ( don't freak out with hems. they are very simple! on the underside part of the template add 1 1/2" fold in 1/2" depending on your fabric of you dog's clothes, Iron a line there. if you are using something like fleece simple measure in 1/2' and make a line with a pen or chalk, now let it go. now fold it in from the edge 1/4" fold it in again to the 1/2" line.and do a top stitch as close to the edge of the fold line as you can. DO NOT worry if it's a straight line, just do the best you can!!! NOBODY is gong to see it. who's gong to be looking to see if your stich lines are straight on the belly Nobody is going to care if you have strait lines on the belly of your dog's clothes. And if they do, you need to rethink your friend's list.), as well and use velcro for ease of putting it on /off. my dog loves wearing these warm little outfits, but doesn't enjoy me putting them on. he has more important things to do with his time! lol if you notice the 1" was for the hem the other 1/2" is for the velcro.
My sister-in-law's yorkie is getting old and can't control his bladder anymore. they make a doggie diaper, but they are ugly & expensive they have training strap pads as wellbut to have enough to last all week is expensive as well, bc washing one or 2 at a time is well you know the answer to that as well. well she bought a few, but lines them with women's unscented panty liners. so every so often i make her some new ones. especially during a holiday. it's about 5"" wide and whatever yout dog is aroud ove his her urinary area. then add another 5" do a 1" seam like i explained above then at the ends add a wide piece of velcro. like a 3"-4" piece wide to holdit together.

Nice dog bed...but what do you do when it gets dirty? I use foam squares and sew in zippers so i can wash it.

We tried these but my dog couldn't figure out how to work the sewing machine.
I think my dog would be chewing on the ropes that's the only issue I see
