The Mustang Week Staff would like to announce a major project for the 2009 Mustang Week event. In February of 2009 the Staff lost one of our own with the passing of Bill Jones. Bill was an integral part of Mustang Week. The success of Mustang Week is due in part to Bill's knowledge and experience. We began entertaining ideas of what we might do either this spring or during Mustang Week in Bill's honor. Staff member Mike Clay brought forth the idea that we feel Bill would have most appreciated. Bill was the type of person that constantly went out of his way to help someone out. Anyone that spent time around Bill knew and experienced his generous nature. He was quick to help someone make something or a situation better. Keeping with this theme, we have selected a deserving fellow Mustang enthusiast to have their car cleaned up and modified in Bill's honor. The opportunity to do this presented itself in the parking lot after Bill's funeral. We have chosen the 1995 Mustang GT convertible owned by Joel Gilchrist. Joel goes by "Rev's 5.0" here on the Mustang Week website and other sites. He is the pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Wentworth, NC, just north of Greensboro. Joel puts together and resides over the annual Mustang Week Worship Service the Sunday after all the big events and last year the youth group from his church volunteered their time to pick up trash and clean the parking lots at the mall after both the Car Show and Cruise In. The youth group will be back helping in 2009. Joel also reached out in a big way by being with Bill's family while Bill was in the hospital and then resided over and preached Bill's funeral service after his passing. We strongly feel that Joel exemplifies the moral character that Bill Jones lived by. We will reveal Rev's updated Stang at the Meet-N-Greet at Planet Hollywood, on July 21st during this years Mustang Week event. We already have a few very gracious sponsors lined up to help us with this project. Those already participating are listed below. We will continue to provide "sneak peak " details as we move closer to this reveal and look forward to this project in honor of our great friend and colleague. We really think Bill would feel we made a wise choice for the recipient and be very proud of this project.

Even for it's age and mileage, that's still one of the coolest sounding stangs I've ever heard.

Ill agree with what some others have said in that this isn't my favorite body style of Mustang but the way it is customized and set up makes it look straight sexy. Very awesome video as usual Kyle, and very nice tribute.

Why is everyone trying to diss the car in the video? Its a quality 17 year old american muscle car, with a exhaust note that anyone can fall in love with. 215hp but still around 285 lb-tq. Good review Kyle, I honestly love the car, I almost bought one of these yesterday but the guy sold it right before me.

My cousin had a 95 or 95 Cobra. I cant remember i was pretty little. But it had the 4.6 not the 5.0 It ran pretty awesome! Sounded great!
I think Christal should modify her old mustang like this! I'm not a big fan of those rims and I'm not big on mustangs in general, but nice car overall. I like the sound of it during the test drive as well as the revving portion and the presentation of everything in the video like with the mods and everything regarding Mustangweek was very professional and informative. Your videos are just getting better and someday someone needs to make a theme song and intro for your special videos!

You should do a review of the 2012 Toyota Prius. Just the regular Prius. I have not been able to find many videos showing the newer front end and newer led day time running lamps and your videos go through all of that type of stuff.

You do your videos and you see cars of all kinds, is it true that there are lights xenon clearer than others (the factory)? For example: I have a mercedes benz c class with xenon light package and LED but I see that the xenon is very yellow, bad or will you be more yellow than other xenon lights?

Hey man, i've been watching your channel for a very long time and i've always wanted to ask you this. How do you get these cars to review? i've always wanted to do this, but i don't how
He had it on an earlier video, start small, dress nice, and present yourself well. Ask to do friend's cars, move up to small dealerships and so on, building experience and credentials. It's pretty much a business.
Now less than 10 years later we have 2liters kicking out 247hp NA stock and the 5.0 is up to 412hp NA stock (I know it varies). Its impressive to see the growth of both 4cyl and V8s alike.
