- What do you do when you have a family of nine? If you’re Jocelyn Chiappone, you design a spacious, beautiful kitchen, that truly suits every imaginable need. Clean and classic, the kitchen’s beauty lies in the details. From the mosaic that acts as the backsplash behind the range ovens, to the walnut section of the island’s countertop, the space is full of hidden gems. Not as hidden is the island itself, which weighs around 2.5 tons, and is quite the workhorse, with a marble countertop, ample storage, and a deep sink to work with. But while the kitchen is certainly replete with practical amenities, it loses none of the potentials for coziness, as it is home to a small fireplace, and a welcoming dining area.

Wow! Just when I thought the kitchens couldn’t get any better. I love this series.
Second time watching this video and I think I finally figured out why I love it so much. It's not the high ceilings or the gigantic island (although those are both stunning features). The thing I love the most about this kitchen is that it's actually a kitchen with an eat-in area that is *not* open concept. Personally, I don't like the open concept design when the kitchen, living room and dining room are all together in an open space. I much prefer distinct spaces and I love how this kitchen is allowed to just be a kitchen and how the other spaces are still defined as their own in separate places.

Omg, I did the same liquor cabinet. Mine has 2 pullouts trays/ drawers. It never occurred to me to put red wine on one! Thank you for the idea. I just rearranged mine! Gorgeous kitchen btw.
