I echo what you’re saying.Even though I’m beginner in German but I never found it to be a hard language from the beginning.I blame my bad German for lack for practice and efforts but I thinks it’s very similar to English and the more I listen to it the more it sounds like English to me as well.Glad you could relate to it too

France used to be so popular. What happened? I agree about Italy being a favourite country: nice scenery, nice weather, nice people, nice food, beautiful language.
France is the most popular destination globally. It has everything . Some online geeks don’t like it anymore though. Those high anxiety , fearful types fall for the online bullshit you see everywhere. Thankfully most people are not online geeks and have a life.
France is a lovely country. But if you are a tourist Italy is so much better in everything: weather, food, people... It's more likely that the people will be patient with you even if you don't speak the local language. France also has more dangerous, crime-ridden areas, more tensions between people, frequent strikes...
Islamist terrorism, strikes, Parisians, expense. France has a lot of downsides.

@@kaaner3735 Valid. However, it is because of the kdrama and kpop scene that we are introduced to the actual culture of South Korea. The food, the language, the cultural mannerisms and the 'drive' they have speaks for itself. The society as a whole has traits and norms that are unique to them as how it would be in other countries.

The dichotomy between reality and fantasy is stark but the Korean 'culture' portrayed still remains. South Korea has it's own culture and norms that are specific to them. The traditions, cuisine, high society lifestyle, agriculture, fashion, infrastructure, developments, history, social lifestyle are some I find interesting to read about and possibly experience.
I appreciate the heads up though.

Nepal is stunning country.Its unimagenably diverse in terms of People,culture,climate and language within short distance.Mountains are spectacular as of Nepali people.They are trust worthy,genuine ,extremely friendly and welcoming.Definitely a country to visit once in a lifetime.

I'm surprised someone mentioned Puglia, specifically Nardo! When my family visited Puglia three years ago, I was awestruck that, for once, we haven't bumped into any Germans - not a one - and we stayed there for two weeks! The only non-Italian tourists (as most of the 'tourists' were Italians from the north) we saw were English and Swiss tourists.

Mein Lieblingsland ist Deutschland, ich finde vorallem die süddeutschen Gegenden und Kulturen extrem schön. Zudem bin ich natürlich hier aufgewachsen und verbinde alle meine Erinnerungen mit diesem Ort. Den zweiten Platz belegt Österreich, welches optisch einfach extrem schön ist und auch die Menschen dort, waren in allen Urlauben, die ich dort schon gemacht habe, total gastfreundlich. Allerdinga finde ich auch die tropischen Länder mit ihrer Artenvielfalt an Flora und Fauna sehr beeindruckend.

I wanted to at first say my homeland in the USA, but it would be too obvious, but I very much enjoy living here.
I have traveled around many countries because my company 😅 for me , the countries that I like the most are Greece, Australia and Netherlands.
