Ok, Sue & Gambo, where is your restaurant? I want to eat there. I'll be your apprentice first. Both of you are fantastic people, your kindness and generosity is overwhelming. Please keep teaching us ALL your tricks of cooking Asian recipes. Bless you both!
Hey, good to see you back with more! This latest batch all look great - thanks for posting them!
What a good resapie
Gambo, why aren't you and Sue a huge channel on CZcams? Most straightforward presentations out there. I am a new subscriber.
agreed
James Jacocks my family asks for their recipes all the time I’m cooking their dishes at least once a week . It’s super easy to follow their recipes and if you goof up just add a little of whatever you goofed on like Gambo does and it’s a no fail every time ..
Gambo is a much better video personality than Sue. I think the electric wok and non clanging of Chinese cooking and equipment takes away from the presentation.
Wow, just awesome, I love these videos, such a great teacher.
hi here's the updated link to the written recipe: sueandgambo.com/sweet-and-sour-pork-2/
I’m back Sue and Gambo. It seems your sweet n sour pork/chicken is my family’s favorite and I’m making it by request at least once a week. They ask for the kind that’s so delicious by Sue and Gambo..
Thank you again for posting how to make your food it’s becoming a staple in my home.. 🙏💕

I love your videos. It would be great if you could post a video on how to make BBQ spare ribs! 😀
I'm trying to get him to do a video on how to make the boneless bbq pork the way they make it in the take-out places. I know it's "fake" Chinese food but it tastes great......lol
I just love all your recipes and have followed you for years but one thing. who in the world are Sue & Gambo??
You guys are awesome!! I never will understand how come some people dislike this recipes, what so ever is the human condition!! thank you guys your the best
Thats because you have not eaten any sweet and sour pork better than this.
Thanks for your sense-making video. I would like to ask if you really mean "beaking soda" because "beaking powder" is more appropriate here.
I am thinking of playing a joke on my mom! First, I watch the videos and then I practice the cooking. Also, I take photos of the finished dishes and send them to her! She will be surprised!
legendary
Your awesome looks so good
Okay .. :-) Thanks ..
Can you do a video on cooking equipment and wok care?
Looks so much better than that neon pink crap served near me. Thanks chef 🍛❤
Lovely but how did u cut d carrot in dat shape
Hello gambo! Can i take you home?...i like the way you cook...very easy and simple and so tasty..yummy ..😋😋
👍🏻
So I had a real long pork loin, Iwant to make half sweet and sour pork and 1/2 pork with gravy for the next couple of days so what I did was I cut the pork loin in half I baked them took 1/2 out early that's the one I'm going to make my sweet and sour pork with did an egg wash covered them with flour deep fry them and then made his sauce but I use a little brown sugar
I would trim the sinew away from the pork first, that doesn't breakdown when cooked. It causes the pork to be chewy.
What part of pork did u use chef
Can anyone help me I make this it was great I wanted to know can I use the same batter to make other foods like fried zucchini or chicken or other fried foods?
IN short, "yes", you can. Perfectly fine!
Can you put any other oil if you don't have the sesame oil?
Sesame oil gives good flavor to food, other oil doesnt
i only use peanut oil in my (wok) cooking due to its high heat smoke point.
You said 1 tea spoon of oil for the batter but you used a large table spoon of oil. So i take it as you need to use a large table spoon worth of oil.
If you watch enough videos on Chinese cooking, you will notice most cooks are using table utensils, not actual measuring utensils. So if you want to duplicate what you see him cooking, you have to do the same. Use a large tablespoon as the 'Tablespoon" and use a teaspoon as the "teaspoon" to measure all your ingredients. I do it this way and let me tell you, the dishes come out WAY better than if you use actual measuring spoons. Chinese people don't use measuring utensils all that much, they prefer to "wing" it because they already know what each and every ingredient tastes like, smells like, how strong it is, etc. so they cook to their personal taste. I even tested this theory. I made his general taos chicken dish. I first measured everything out with actual measuring utensils and then made a second batch using the tablespoon and teaspoon method as you see here and the second version came out AMAZING while the first one came out good but so-so. So trust me, do it his way. You won't regret it.
Plain or selfraising flour
All purpose.
How do u cut the carrots like that
Yanet Quintero hi you'll need a potato French fry cutter
Awesome! Soo hungry now!
Where is the onion?
Why does everyone confuse teaspoons with tablespoons? It's kind,of important to know the difference.
Just watch and learn. No need to question.
Doesn't trim the fat???
Up
Biggest. Tablespoons. Ever.
Anyone else see the bug in the vegetables before he put them in the sweet and sour
Hey we gonea mek uhh sweet aaan souer pork.
I feel you are confuse a little bit of what you're doing. 😂🤣
Just try to hang in there and pay attention. It comes out right. Always have to adjust a little along the way. And remember.... English isn't his first language, just like Chinese isn't "yours".
Half cup of fowr.
Dolt.
I seen far better and never with carrots.
Then go make it. Sheeesh.
