This adapter will allow you to install the Gear Head Works Tailhook pistol brace on the Kriss folding stock.
Works with first and second generation folding stocks!
Just got mine... love it. As a heads up, the stock in the video is a Gen1. I have the Gen2 stock and it still looks and works great. Buy with confidence!

I'm not an expert, but when I got my Vector 10mm last year, even with that extra length you added on at the end to make it over 26", it still doesn't count because you can collapse the stock. I left my vertical foregrip off till I got my SBR. Also, when I got mine, it was in the pistol format and you couldn't fold the stock and the pin wasn't removable. I had to drill off one end of the pin to remove it.
If I'm wrong then by all means set me straight, but from what I was told at the gun shop, was that even suppressors or muzzles don't count towards the length because they can be removed without drilling or machining. Like how they have those stupid 16" barrels or extenders on them for certain applications....they are pinned to the barrel or the gun. Just a heads up :)

Well I just watched the video saying Gear Head Works tailhook mod 1 Kriss Vector adapter that works with the stock Kriss folding stock
Correct me if I'm wrong, but even with that added length, you still can't put a vertical foregrip on it because the stock folds. I think the ONLY way you can have it without an SBR stamp is non folding stock to the end of the barrel at 26". Now if you had a permanently mounted muzzle break or suppressor then I believe that counts towards length.
That wasn’t the case when this video was posted. The ATF made up that stupid rule since then

If you have a silencer attached does it count when measuring the Kriss "Greater than 26" with silencer"
It does not. Muzzle devices don't count either, unless they are permanently attached.

Guy in a garage yes. I emailed you not too long ago inquiring about the 3d printed hinge. I've been biding my time until I see the cost of the aluminum one, but this setup is seriously tempting. A tad costly for me (stock + hook + 3d part), but tempting.

Angled foregrips are legal on firearms classified as a pistol.

I ended up doing the e file today for the Kriss Vector I was like let me jump in while they getting approved quick! Then got a call that my form 4 was approved for my rugged razor! @@Farrow_Tech

Do you have a price estimate for both adapters? Would like to buy both just to have on hand incase I want to use a foregrip. Bought a vector but wont get it till next week. Have to buy the tailhook and vector stock also. Ill probably send you a email a day after I get my vector.

Sucks the ATF just changed guidelines for the overall length. So that 26” isn’t “necessary for function. Its a no go for everyone who cares if things are “legal” to ATF. For those don’t... well why are you looking up braces in the first place! 😉
If you have a Kriss Vector SPD pistol can you buy the folding stock with a tail hook brace on it and if you can where would you buy that

Gearheadworks sells a modified vector stock with an adapter instead of the buttstock but seems they are sold out personally these seem a bit pricey at 140 without the tail hook
personally i think your best bet if you want it now is to pick up vector stock for 60~ dollars throw away the buttpad and see if Guy in a Garage(flood@farrow.tech) will sell you an adapter or you could buy one form yeti works (though i believe they were a limited run and currently oos) again tail hook sold separately
keep in mind with the sdp you will need to drill out the take pin holding your end piece (either a brace or sling point depending on the model) not very hard and the gear head works kit or a vector stock will come included with a pin anyways
if for whatever reason your kit doesn't have a pin or you lose it; a rear take down a pin for an mp5 will will be an exact fit I actually lost my take down pin and bought an mp5 pin for 3 dollars VS the 25 + shipping kriss was asking for thier take down pins
personally i just clamped my upper in a vise with some towels and used a random drill bit i had lying around it was supper soft metal and was done in seconds

I made this adapter that goes between the Tailhook and the Vector folding stock. I could perhaps make this a tutorial in the future. Modeling it is not very difficult, but printing with threads is a bit tricky.
