The original version was recorded in 1980 and released on an album called Tasteless Tunes, I'm not sure who recorded it, but it might be the Texas BS Band, since there are other songs on the album by them. It sounded like it was recorded live in a bar or somewhere like that. I remember the singer saying "This song is dedicated to the Klondike Perverts" at the beginning of the song. I have been looking everywhere for a copy of the original, but have never been able to find one.
Actually, David Allen Coe never recorded this song, and most of the other songs he is "credited" for, were actually recorded by other artists, mostly Johnny Rebel. The only "offensive" LPs he ever released were Nothing Sacred, and The Underground Album in the late 70s. Rodney never recorded this either, this version is by the Laughing Hyena Singers from the Truly Tasteless Tunes vol. 1 that was nothing more than cheap remakes of novelty songs that were mostly sold in truck stops in the mid 90s.
You might be a chickenhauler if. Briefcase song, and vibrator king were all sold at the oasis truck stop, exit 137, right behind the Loves.(hand free mop, spot free rinse, guarentee ya satisfaction, lol) in like 1996. Before OK made all the college girls stop making truckers very happy. That's where youd find this song.
i had this song in around 1990 it was on a tape called tasteless trucker hits vol ... something .. his isn't the one that sang it on that album . it's to off beat . takes me back though .
