This version would have been a smash at Motown in the 60s/70s. We need more music like this on the charts these days!
He's a great performer and vocalist. He moves, dances and engages you in his performance. He really knows how to use his falsetto, has a solid range.....and his tone is smooth and easy to the ear.
This is more of a soul/motown feel.
The bassist is damn ridiculous, some tasty playing right there.
Bruno by far one of the best male vocalist of his generation if not the best..soul full voice great Range control well his falsetto and singing live , he needs to be Wright up.there with some of the great singers.
One of two things...
1) this is the real way the song was written and they dumbed it down for radio.
2) the song was written and they were messing around and came up with this rendition of it and now we don't get a studio version of this

Simply LOVE that “Motown” style of this record in all the ways 🙀! It’s like a mix between “What’s Going On” of Marvin Gaye 😭🖤 (specially that “James Jamerson” style of playing Bass of Jamareo Artis! Is like a touch of heaven in earth ✨)

Bruno's father is from Puerto Rico, and his mother is from Hawaii. His father was a singer too in an orchestra, but never made it big as a soloist. And he saw Bruno's talent since he was a kid, and coached him to become a soloist singer. Although, Bruno was born in NY, and wasn't born in Hawaii, he grew up there and considers Hawaii his hometown. Bruno and his father are very close, and they have a strong bond.
Bruno’s mother is a Filipina, from the Philippines. She migrated to Hawaii as a singer herself and met Bruno’s father there. Bruno has a big extended family in the Philippines (Google their reunion in CZcams). Sadly, his dear mother passed away with aneurysm some years back.
