- The RAAW Madonna V3 through the eyes of an average rider. This is not a magazine pro level review, but rather an overview of why I bought a Madonna, the components I prefer and my first impressions.

Really nice and honest review. Probably the best I’ve seen so far considering that you just reflect a down to earth user experience. Thanks a lot!
Happy to hear that! I had a lot of imposter syndrome posting this video. But I thought, let's just be honest... Surely there must be people like me who think about buying bikes like this. Old enough to be able to afford it, too old to feel immortal. Glad to hear it's appreciated.
Greetings from Texas. Excellent video and review of the V3. Just subscribed to follow your adventures in the big mountains . One reason I’m considering the V3 is the high stack you talked about, size medium is 650mm which is up to 30mm higher than many others. That cock pit position and geo plus all that adjustability , there is no other rig like the Madonna. Keep up the great work and have fun
Thanks Todd! You won't regret it. This frame is well beloved by many.
I really enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing this for us! And I hope you are doing well! Working hard makes you stronger! That's what you are! And Never give up! Keep going because you are great! And you got my full support!
Great video.
Nice to hear Raaw having a good customer service.
Thanks. Yeah they've been great and they send a lot of follow-up information
Alu frame and external routing led me to a Bird Aether 9, with a shortlist including only the Airdrop, Cotic and RAAW. Four outstanding bikes.
I own both the Bird AM9 and Bird Zero frames and would recommend them to anyone as well
Enjoyed this. This is in on my list alongside the Transition Patrol, this did sway me. Have emailed to ask about sizing. Nice one
Been enjoying this first impression so much, since I myself been eyeing on both Madonna and Jibb for a future project. Do let us know your long term review of it. Bis spaeter!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! What project?
@@ALLMOUNTAINMTB Oh nothing just a planned project for my self-built full sus. I kinda like bike with high stack so Raaw and Banshee have the frames I want.
Thank you for the video. This frame is currently on my list for next year 👍 I think the geo is ideal. I am thinking about buying carbon wheels with it to keep the weight somewhat similar to what I am used to.
Thank you for this review ! Did you get a rolling chassis ? I have shortlisted V3 and the your component choices helps !
I ordered only a frame + shock + headset (the 70)
Amazing bike
Just compared my Transition Spire to the Madonna V3. The high stack is what I really liked about the Madonna. Makes it better on the steep stuff where you have to put a lot of pressure on the front wheel. Also lets you get it into the air easier.
I still have to learn how to jump... But in the mountains I do ride a lot of really steep stuff and there this is perfect indeed!
How does it climb?
How does it descent on steep and wet?
Which length of stem do you use?
I use a 40mm stem. So far I've only used it on the dry where it performed brilliantly. Wet would mainly be a factor of tyres in my opinion.
Thank you.
How does it ride compared to your previous bike/s?
P.S. great review
@@MarioB-xx8mk it's more stable and confidence inspiring. I mainly notice that on sections of trail where I'd otherwise be struggling with the bike, I am sometimes not even thinking about the bike.
