Love Is Blind Contestant SUES Netflix Over “Walking Red Flag” Fiancé | E! News

I think she has a good case. Netflix needs to screen its participants. Some will slip through the cracks but this was preventable
She doesn't. She could have left and broke the contract. If I work retail with coworkers that are weird and it turns out one of them is a murderer. I can sue the retail owner for hiring that guy, but nothing is going to happen. It isnt on the employer, same with the show. If they fail to respond to violence in the work environment. That's a different situation, but she never left so if the argument is emotional abuse good luck
I hope shes gets justice that is so disturbing. Netflix is insane.
I don't appreciate them bringing in people who are unstable or obviously not suitable for marriage, for the purpose of creating drama.
Yes and in season 6 matthew is also very creepy
@@blueblack3591 just started watching. OMG why is he even on the show? He's reading out a list of questions like he's conducting a job interview. What a nightmare.
This is absolutely a CASE. Hope she gets justice!!!!
These companies need to really screen these people. Its obvious they don't. Look at The Golden Bachelor. He's a perfect example.
Oh now I gotta see what's going on with him.
What’s wrong with the golden bachelor guy?

Yo, that’s actually disturbing, I hope she gets her $$$
He prob tricked production like he tricked her. Narcissists are charismatic.
That whole season was trash
how awful
you can leave....and face a $50,000 fee as per the contract they are forced to sign
My friend works for reality tv casting. They do background checks and psychological checks on people where she works. I wonder if its dependent on production??
Whoa, r we gonna get a new season?
The next one is supposed to be coming out in Feb. So we will see 🤷🏾♂️
Of course! Plus Love is Blind has it's show in multiple countries around the world. The lawsuit only makes sense if she had never watched it, or any show like it. You are signed up to have no outside contact for weeks, so the sole focus is on building a romantic relationship. They want you thinking of nothing else. If contestants were paid more, more people would be there for the wrong reasons. Matchmaking reality shows are like romantic boot camp. Definitely a pressure cooker, but especially for those who aren't looking for a relationship. Cast members there for love call out the struggles and what they are looking for in a partner, and leave if they feel deceived. You wouldn't stay till the very end to just say no, unless you did it for money and fame. Now I don't know why the couple in the lawsuit was completely cut from every episode, but the complaints don't match the length they filmed together. Protocol is typical of all these shows.
Valentines day. But also, LiB Sweden just aired yesterday. I've already binge watched every available episode.
Gonna stop watching this
If they're going to put people through this and then not even air it giving us just three boring passive aggressive couples then I'm done watching anyway.
Sounds like cult.
Both could be wrong. She could be in it for the money and the producer manipulate people to stay. There are people who hide their addictions and erratic behaviour. You can live together for many years and not know until you get married. It happened to a friend of mine. Dude was a drug addict. She didn't know until he started behaving strangely as soon as they got married.
She must not have seen the show, cause it's the same in every country. The men and women are separated, then cut off from the world for weeks, only talking to each other, so they can find their matches. The point is to get rid of the guys who aren't seriously ready for marriage! What the heck did they talk about the whole time?! It's obvious when people are there for the wrong reasons, and don't get to know each other. Plenty just want to get more famous. Then they meet and know nothing about each other. Of course they would feel trapped. That's half the show! But the audience is watching for the love story that does happen. The Bachelor/Bachelorette show does the same thing with about 3% of the time to know each other. Love is Blind you meet engaged already! Married at First Sight is just what it says. People can and have left on every show.
I don't believe they told her she would get sued for leaving the show. Many others have left with no issue, they do lose money they would get payed by Netflix though.
At the end of the day she choose to spend weeks with this guy and even walk down the isle with him, so her accusations are a little hard to take 100% serious. This lawsuit probably won't go anywhere.
Others have said there is a clause that they will get fined 50,000. I think they give some permission to leave
@@SEOshogun As far as I know, that is not in the contract anymore.
Smh
First
If she was so scare why did she. Marry him ? She could have left other contestants have left she probably wants money . I watched the season she was laughing and even stood till the end
Did you listen to the part where they said she would face legal action? They also had a handler for her Jesus 😅
She didn’t she married someone else
She could have left, just like every couple before her. But you can't just leave the pods in the first few weeks. But at that point, she was with only women. On all of these matchmaking reality shows, you are cut off from the public. You are escorted to keep the bubble. You can't get on your phone and Google who you are dating. It's designed that way to keep every contestant focused on the romantic relationship. It's well known outside distraction creates distraction from the process. The bachelor has an engagement after a couple weeks and a few dates. Love is Blind at least gives multiple hours a day, for weeks, then you meet and get engaged, or leave. No doubt there is pressure to make it work, but most couples leave each other before the end, unless they are there for the wrong reason. It's designed for people to find a life partner. A guy with no job, broke, a heavy drinker and drug user could be the right man for a woman who comes from money and just wants a life partner to party by her side. I'm always shocked when a couple comes out engaged, and didn't ask each other about children..!? What did they talk about for a month?! That happens too often, but it's a big sign they both just wanted to be on any show. If a show is made for people to meet and stay together, it should only pay enough to cover bills back home. All the shows cover room and board, transportation..and they all have the choice to leave.
@@puregoodevil1084 If you watched the show like I did another couple Taylor and JP had differences and they parted ways so if they could leave, why couldn’t she ?they were on the same show so as you can see, she chose to stay
@@iancuneo1820 right after the show , but on the show she stayed all the way till the alter she even got a wedding dress but the show cut her part out due to the legal issues . My point being if she was so scared why didn’t she leave as soon as she saw red flags 🚩
Smells like Clout chasing to me. She could have left any time. Other people have left.
People in the US sue other people for everything. Is not like they forced her to be there. She signed up for it and if her life was at risk she should have left the show.
She's just butt heart she was cut from the show
