The Wall of Mess is a reference to the Wall of Flesh in a game called, "Terraria."
It is, well, a wall made out flesh found in the underworld after chucking a guide voodoo doll into the lava. It is a mouth, and two eyes, which are its weak points. It has great health, smaller mouths named, "Hungries," and burps out leeches. In expert/master mode, it becomes faster the more it is damaged. Trying to escape? The Wall of Flesh will kill you instantly if you try. Upon defeating him, the text states that, "the ancient spirits of light and dark are released." This activates hardmode. Check out Terraria, as this includes the boss!
