this game is absolutely demented and i love it. i've been waiting for a kart racer with this much mechanical depth and personality since activision killed CTR and oh baby i couldn't be happier we're here now. people have their complaints with this game but i personally am LOVING it, so much so that i went out of my way to grind out a montage of my fumbles and feats LOL. there might be more of these. probably not, idk, depends on if this video does well (it won't)

Yeah, I can't understand how the slope system could have been greenlit. At best it's nothing to write home about, at worst it's a run killer
at first when the game came out and I saw people complaining about slopes, I thought "hmm they can't be THAT bad" but then I played the invincible cup

I’m usually fine with the slope mechs but that hill in Marble Zone with the mud is the bane of my existence
Fortunately with the update that was just released retuning the slope physics a little, this should be less of a problem! Hopefully.
I haven't played that track myself yet, but I've watched gameplay of it, and that section has definitely looked miserably slow.
I genuinely can't wait for when they'll add in custom map support

it wasnt JUST the microtransactions that killed ctr, it was the janky online infrastructure and sudden end of support not even a full year after the game's release. let alone the lack of a pc port. its a crying shame because i fully believe that ctr nitro fueled is the best kart racer ever made
