A pleasure to watch, you're right, each part is designed with an asthetic that is pleasing to my eyes. It makes assembly such a pleasure. The frame in red is spot on..

do you think a "newer" dt 125 engine would fit without to much trouble in the mk1 frame? like lets say a engine from a yamaha dt 125c lc from 1993

I don’t think it would the frames might be very different and you could have to weld new mounts on and that might not be able to go the bike back on the road from an mot they might not like home made parts or welding

@@retrobikestuff760 Yo, this came in super important. I have been wanting to rebuild my -82 LC Mk1 engine for ages, but the pistons here were 110€, and 15€ for only the clutch gasket, on yambits it's only 50, with full gasket kit and shipping to finland. Now all i need is a Cylinder, or i need to make it to 58mm bore size, currently it was 57.75-58, last owner was supposedly a "smal lengine mechanic", but did everything half assedly and completely fucked it

Don't take my word but im pretty sure they are the same, just "Rowdy" as we call it here is named with a W for some reason, not fully sure though

The Cylinder porting is different. DT is ported for lower torque/grunt
