Okay, this has injector set-up for "Hurst Hemi Under Glass + other "wheelstander kits! Wheels are great for 60s era projects, too. In my recollection, suggestion was once this kit would make a great "Robin's Ride" to accompany '66 Batmobile - and having matching wheels makes this "fiction" even more convincing!
Nice review here, thanks for posting it! I built one of these a few years ago and was surprised at how good it was considering the age and subject. Thanks also for the tip on paint for the tires - I've been experimenting with colors to get a good "used rubber" look, and will have to try that out
Thanks Chris. Your highlights of Kit Features are always Excellent. I never Bought nor built this kit although thought of it just because I'm a Mopar Guy I've Seen many box art on this one. However most never ever Mentioned the "TRAILER" in the kit too That Factor would have made the kit a must buy if I'd known trailer was in it I'd have bought it for trailer alone BTW. Kit is 67 based the 66 was first gen of barracuda this was 2 ND generation. No biggie good Review. Happy Building. Walt
hpiguys Workshop Yeah, I watch all your builds and reviews just don't think I've ever seen you build a car. I will have to go back through your videos. But i completely understand with not having time.. Thanks for the reply.
You're correct, I don't build a lot of car models. You Tube is pretty saturated with car builds. I do have a car build coming up about Nov 18th or so. I've joined the Tom Daniel build and will be doing the Beer Wagon. Hope you like it.
Odd that the air intakes just sit GN DN in the hood. The drive shaft, diff. and rear suspension molding would mean I'd have to be cutting on this model ;(
Some of the old AMT and MPC kits had molded in suspensions and exhausts. What is cool though, is the printed sprue diagrams on the bottom side of the box so you know what you're getting.
The movioe stunk out loud. I always wondered why Barris would have used a Barracuda for thius car since he removed anything that made it a Barracuda. Seems to me a Valiant Signet hardtio would have been just as useful. The real car had a 273, NOT a Hemi.

No problem, it should be about 50 cents at Walmart.
I have this kit in the stash, I have a strong urge to paint it up differently, thinking a dark blue would be very cool.
Enjoy man!
Great review as always! I have an older release somewhere in the stash. Now I have an idea of what's in the box. Thanks for the look inside.
Thanks Vince!
Thanks for sharing this OOB review Chris!
Thanks Mike!
I kinda want to buy this kit just for the trailer.
The trailer also appears in some other kits, it's a nice piece to have.
I remember growing up and getting bubble gum with cards of famous custom cars. George Barris had the majority of the cars on the cards.
True, thanks for watching!

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
Rick Beam wrong, look at the body lines. This car is first gen Barracuda
Thanks. That was a good review.
Thanks!
Great review and a cool kit.
Thanks Jeff!
Great review sir! Gear kit!
Thanks Kenny!
Do you have a channel where you build these cars?
Charles Tyler I have done 9 full builds on this channel since August and about 20 reviews. That's the most I can do while also working full time.

The bottom is more of a curbside, yeah.

Why not use this car to tow the boat I think this and the boat would look great together
