Bischoff has been ripping AEW/Khan's heart out with every podcast he does. They both obviously can't stand each other now. But it was Khan who brought it all on himself, like always. I want to confide in you Konnan, if this is indeed you on here typing...> If you've worked around/talked to Khan before, then you probably might have already thought about this conclusion...> I know it for fact, that Khan is DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED and has some form o AUTISM. I knew it and felt it from the first time I ever saw him on tv. This guy does NOT belong on any tv shows or platforms. He should be kept off-camera because he has totally ruined his own image, and that of his family, and company. I am not saying it to be insulting, it is the truth. People with autism do very similar things and act in very similar ways to Khan. All these morons online don't get it. I have been saying this for years now. Khan is disabled and people make fun of him with drug references and such, but it is a serious matter. You cannot work with him because VERY FEW can...>

my biggest takeaway from this is that AEW has fallen to such a low point in the industry that now people who actively work in wrestling can publicly trash them and no worry about any form of career backlash.

Ahh remember when WWE released Rusev and Keith Lee and countless stars, how IWC and CZcams channels like WrestleTalk and WhatCulture were unhappy and bashing WWE decision. And were happy see them debut in AEW.
Now both Miro and Keith Lee are barely on TV and they are all silent on this lol. Talk about Double standards, most of them were infact featured more under Vince than Tony Khan.
AEW completely raided NJPW, had TNAs entire main event roster but over Kenny Omega, and done basically nothing at all for AAA or CMLL minus putting the belt on Omega and they did do a decent job of showcasing Vikingo, credit where it’s due
That’s about it. In just about every situation Tony puts another company’s talent on TV in a cold match and makes 0 attempt to explain to the audience who the guys are, before they do a job and you never see them again
Back in WCW, you would have a Mike Tenay explain the lucha and Japanese culture and why we should care about these guys. Why doesn't Tony get someone like that?

When I watch lucha I see what Disco is talking about when it comes to the thigh slapping, for the women especially.
There was a great women's wrestling promotion called "Chickfight". They featured tons of really talented female wrestlers and there was a lot of really great matches. Nothing about the name of the company was disrespectful to anyone involved so why is "Chick" suddenly a dirty word? Lol

Because Tiny Klown, aka Tony Khan, is a 100% official clueless fool who is personally destroying his own company's tenure as a wrestling entity and has NOT made ANY profit whatsoever in over 5 years. If Konnan's promotion is "selling out" buildings, then WHY would he ever want to associate himself with a joke of a company like AEW - Arena Empty Wrestling, where they can't even give away tickets and practically every show has 3/4 of their building empty...> It is so embarrassing that they have to "creatively" disguise the emptiness with camera tricks, very "selective" camera shots inside, and using some annoying technology to cover up "spaces"...> How much longer will this continue? I said awhile back it wouldn't go another 2 years without them going out of business. But I have to admit that recently the matches have greatly improved, as well as better personality/charisma out of many of the talent. The booking has been sllightly better. Less predictable jobber vs "always wins" matches. So yes, they have improved despite me degrading and demeaning them for a long time now. They still have MANY problems here, but whatever...>

All I'm gonna say is the American sports market and the international sports market are two very different markets. See futbol, lacrosse, etc. a smart company would definitely diversify their approaches and presentation rather than "one brand".
Honestly, I thought QT Marshall was the worst till I saw him in AAA. It goes to show you the difference a good booking can make.

I never understood how working with AEW would help AAA at all. AEW has zero stars, absolutely zero.
So why would you need AEW wrestlers to come to AAA when you're already doing big sold out shows?
More talent to work with, more exposure to an audience that doesn't get to see AAA wrestlers. AEW stars working in Mexico isn't exactly huge but it still sells a few extra tickets so why not

@@gugie Back in the 90s, WCW, WWF, and ECW all copied each other and referenced each other: Gillberg, bWo, Degeneration X, etc. This made it feel like you needed to watch all of them to stay up to date.
But, today, WWE didn't get hot by copying AEW, they got hot by doing "WWE style" wrestling better than they had been doing it for the last 15 years. Plus, there is now so much wrestling by each company that it is difficult to watch them all.
Those are the reasons that WWE is hot but "pro wrestling" isn't.

Trim the roster instead of buying everyone. They have Great Debut’s and then they’re gone once Tony actually has to put them into a storyline. AEW’s Booking has been terrible for a long while. Doesn’t matter the talent on the roster when the guy with the pen is as talentless as he is.
