“She’s my little angel” Ok we have pinpointed the problem.
I love pit bulls, but this is the type of dog and owner I’m most afraid of running into- high drive, high energy, with an absolutely clueless owner. This dog already attacked other dogs and it’s going to kill another animal.
And the dad letting a dangerous dog go to a shelter or just let it loose is also very irresponsible. Unreal.

I get that the Dad must protect his home and family. That's his job.
The dog is dangerous. Its attacking other dogs, but it will redirect that aggression onto a person eventually.
It doesn't need rehabilitation, it needs to be rehomed and no one is going to take a dog with its current history.
This is a sad case, that didn't need to turn out this way, the wrong owner with the wrong dog.

Its is an aggressive dog in its owners hands.
There is no leadership no strength or assertive leadership.
The dog will hurt other animals and can redirect on a person.
Its not the dog in itself, but this mess, created by its owner, is a tragedy waiting to happen.

      Disagree with you.
I would disown my entire family and all my friends if they supported what that dad threatened. I’d tell them all to take a fast train to the hot place and mean it.
Her dad threatened to STEAL HER DOG AND PUT IT IN A POSITION WHERE IT …WOULD BE KILLED…OR … worse! … WHERE COULD KILL ANOTHER DOG AND THEN BE KILLED. That’s seriously messed up and its a crime. Depending on how it went, and how hard she pushed for criminal charges it could and should land him in prison.
Frankly the threat would make me cut off daddy even were it a joke and it was no joke! Just the threat , to anyone. It’s completely unacceptable.
Yes the dog is a problem. A big one. Yes this young woman is a moron. A big one. Exactly how was this dog in a position to attack her boyfriend’s dog 3 times if she wasn’t choosing the risk of potential fatal fight? That’s doltish behavior. No way she is competent if she makes decisions like that. But it’s her dog and the people around her are also being dolts.
Yes daddy can advocate that the dog be gotten under control or euthanized, And he can certainly forbid it from his home or company. But he is guilty of a crime or threatening a crime in this case. Of course she is putting her foot down. I’m shocked at the idea everyone else wouldn’t.
What daddy cannot do without being a POS is threaten to STEAL the dog and get it KILLED.
In my state the theft of a pet is a felony. Would daddy enjoy being civilly liable for damages caused, by the dog he let run free? Would daddy enjoy criminally liable if a human is harmed? Would daddy enjoy being arrested for felony theft of a pet?
Pretty outrageous behavior he has suggested he plans to do. Her saying he would be cut off forever is a method of trying to prevent him from committing felony theft and getting her dog killed. I’d say her response on this one thing was totally reasonably and in fact under threatening in her response to daddy.
It’s clear daddy threatened to “take charge” dump the dog or take it to a shelter where it would be killed. Owner surrenders are the first killed in overfull shelters which all are right now. The dog likely wouldn’t survive the hour.
. If someone, anyone, threatened what her dad threatened I’d remove them from my life and salt the earth and poison the wells as the old staying goes. It’s completely unacceptably on any level what he suggested.
Just the idea of what daddy has advocated doing causes him to deserve a fast train descending to the hot place. It’s outrageous beyond any words to threaten to steal your child’s pet and cause it to be killed. What kind of monster advocates and threatens that?

Some people should NEVER be allowed to have certain dogbreeds.
No matter how much this girl learns in that session with Cesar, she will need an extensive course in order to ever be able to handle that dog on a permanent basis.
And the dog will need intensive rehabilitation with a professional, before it should get back to that owner.
It's crazy how so many people, who should never have anything beyond a housecat, always pick these powerful dogbreeds, and end up with a monster, because they know NOTHING about what they have.

I've had dogs my whole life. I got 16 stiches in my face from my parents Pitbull "mix" after she bit me in the face after knowing me for years. I'm lucky it was me she bit and not one of my 2-7 year old cousins or nephews. This breed is clearly more aggressive/ prone to attack than others. I don't care if you think your dog is different. In the hospital they told police she was a border colie, so I think its safe to assume these attacks are under-reported.

My adopted at 7 now almost 9 ( rescued 2X I'm 3rd owner) chiuhahua terrier mix (14 lbs) required no kids, quiet adult home, no yelling or hitting which he has with me. Dog goes off on delivery trucks and drivers, kids, most men he doesn't know and is better with friendly women. He goes off on big dog and was recovering from a 2 big dog attack when I first met him at the rescue. He doesn't like male smaller dogs either or to play with any dog. Fortunately, we live in a 55+ complex and there is not not much activity around here. My arthritis makes it hard to do all the walking and manurvering I'd need to do with a dog trainer. Maybe I can just hire a trainer to work with him so it's more comefortable being out and around other dogs and people.

I absolutely LOVE pitbulls ! But, I can't stand ignorant owners who get pitbulls & assume they'll NEVER do anything wrong.. Its a fighting breed, allot of them are naturally going to want to fight other dogs.. And with an owner incapable of handling the dog, it becomes a dangerous liability.

I was bit by a germen shepherd when I was about 10 years old and ever since then I have had a great fear of dogs! I am dating a guy that has two pit pulls and I don't even go near them because of the fear I have. I have No idea of what to do. Any suggestions??

Pitbulls are NO different than any other dog. All I've owned are pits. I've had a couple like Nani... they're like people, different personalities. CONSISTANAT Pack leadership, luke Cesar teaches is key. You can have an out of control teacup Chihuahua thats as aggressive as a 75 lb Pitbull. It's The OWNER, NOT THE DOG ❤🙏

CESAR!!!! I am sure I need your help. The problem is I live in Michigan. My sweet Pitt is turning into a stinker. When I got him as a puppy, I was doing some training work with him and he was doing great. The biggest problem I’m having now is walking him. When I put the leash up around his ears he starts acting like a mini pony. Jumping and rearing, even throwing himself on the ground. I really hope you see my post and can get ahold of me somehow. I’m another one that pisst doesn’t work lol. I need some help, he’s a great dog, he will be 1 in September so he is still in tact male. 🥰

I am a huge fan of Cesar, but I never ever heard him saying anything about the inherent danger of this breed. Dogs are the product of human selection, and in the case of Pits their key quality is to bite and not let go. This is a fact, and he knows it can have devastating consequences. Cesar, don't be blinded. Pitbulls are potentially very dangerous, it is more important to stress this over the discourse of: "I show you that I am able to educate it". What if not?

If you have enough sense to find a way to contact Cesar and get him to come to your house, then you have enough sense to AT LEAST buy a proper leash and put it on the right part of the neck.
I know that doesn’t fix the entire problem, but it blows my mind when these “huge fans” see him put a leash on their dog, direct them and they gasp. Like, babe, that was the easiest part YOU could have tried before it got this bad.

  • @Yosetime
    @Yosetime Před 3 měsíci

She'd disown her father over a dog? I don't think she realizes that her Dad has not disowned her even though she brought this dog into his house and is not taking care of it properly. Her Dad has probably sacrificed a great deal to raise this girl who apparently does not reciprocate that same dedication. I bet things got a little edgy around the house for awhile after she said that. She isn't going to live that one down. I wonder if she took that door in the end? Perhaps a little separation would serve as a good reality check.
