You don’t have to be an Eagles fan here.. this man is legend for all fans and players
💯
Browns fan here, you gotta respect greatness ❤💪
you all are eagles fans you just dont know it
jason kelce will be forever one
@@JohnnyColdstonesame. That and he’s a hometown guy
@@thomashauer6804browns and eagles fan
You can tell how much he doesn't want to retire, but he loves his family more
100% however I feel some type of " Coach Kelce" on the Horizon
I think it’s his body more than his mind.
He also talks about the pain his body feels alot on the podcast so may have a factor as well man had a long amazing career
it’s because he doesn’t want to keep playing and get to a point where he can’t even be there for him family. Pain and injuries.
@@traviscoots203For real, on his podcast he keeps talking about how he has 9 fingers because one doesn't work and whole host of other nagging injuries.
As a 24 year old Philadelphia Eagles fan for my entire life, I spent half of it having the privilege of watching 62 do what he does on the field. To say I’m not devastated is an understatement, but there’s not one person in the world that deserves all the love and flowers more. I met Jason a few times down in Sea Isle City and the man is filled to the brim of his body with so much passion and emotion for the things and people he loves. Eagles legend is obvious enough, this man is a Philadelphia legend. We’ll all miss you in midnight green 62.
"To say I'm not devastated is an understatement" certified Philly resident lmfao. Go back to school bud
@@Nadindeldick
It takes a real man to cry on camera. Gonna miss you Jason
Meh. Doesn't seem like it does anything special to you to cry in front of people. I seen plenty of weak men also cry in front of people. It's just a thing. It's neither good nor bad. It was obviously a very emotional decision and moment for Jason, and how he expressed it was what happened. I don't look at him any less for it, but I also don't hold him in any special high regard because he cried. I focused more on what he was saying, then the fact that he was oft emotionally overwhelmed during his delivery.
If anything, I'm more proud of him for the periods where he was able to compose himself during this extremely emotional moment. Saying as someone who struggles with composing myself during very emotional moments while addressing an audience. I've cried my way through a couple of those speeches. I don't think that makes me special. Afterward I wished I could have composed myself more during the delivery, and released the tears after the speech.
@@RageDaug Typical to try to counter act the saying of "real men cry", surely it struck a feeling in you because any mentions of "real men" this or that your types have to try and defend it because of your self man ego gets hurt. -- Honestly, it does take a true man to cry in public or for the public, the "real men" who thinks crying is weak, are the the WEAK ones, because they think any "softness" is an act of weakness, but usually their self-ego becomes their own downfall and becomes one the MOST weakiest thing in any men.
@@noctis6826 It doesn't take a "real man" to cry. I know little boys who cry at the dumbest things, and I know men like Jason who cry only at very deep and emotional things. Neither are more manly than anyone else because they cried. It doesn't make you special or more manly to cry.
I dunno, it's just a dumb take. "it takes a real man to cry". No, any man regardless of manliness may decide to or just end up crying.
I agree with you that demeaning someone for crying is stupid. I'm just saying it's equally as stupid to praise someone for crying. It just happens to be that 50 years ago is was popular to demean crying, now it's popular to praise crying. Both takes are dumb. Crying is what it is, and if you are emotional it's natural to cry. Not special. Natural.
@@noctis6826 Also, I had difficultly understanding what you were saying in the middle. What did you mean by "your self man ego gets hurt"?
According to you I'm the manliest of men because during my last speech given while I was emotional, I was a wreck and literally cried my way through the entirety of it. I didn't feel bad that I did, I only got hugs and well wishes after, so I didn't feel anyone felt less of me. I dunno, seems like you may have been attacking me with that statement, I'm not sure why, so I figured maybe I misunderstood what you were saying.
@@RageDaug bro get off your phone, this is sad
Certified hall of famer. Loved watching him play. Congratulations, Jason. You've earned everything my friend
So every top 5 player on a team should make the HoF. He was a really good player, but dude was never the best at his position or best player on his team. HoF has been watered down recently so he might make it because he’s a media darling, but nobody cared about him until his brother broke out and the eagles were good JS
@@noahallen8475Have you seen his stats compared to other centers?
@@noahallen84756 time All pro says different. He’s going in
@@noahallen8475he’s definitely been the best center multiple points in his career including this year he’s also the greatest center ever so idk what the hell you’re talking bout

I’m no eagles fan but he’s a legend we’ll miss him 🫡🫡
I'm a pats fan and I love both travis and Jayson and he will always be in my heart as one of the greats in football
I am huge eagles fan and I think I speaking for every NFL fan out there were I say we will miss you so much.
I’m a commanders fan, even though I don’t really like the eagles, I’ll miss him
Retirement is just a transition to new beginnings. Future Hall of Famer and one of the best to ever do it. Super Bowl Champion, 6 time all Pro, and 7 time Pro Bowler. We can all say that Jason Kelce went out on top from being a 6th round pick to being one of the greatest to play the center position. Great job Jason Kelce!
Facts
He said him self he's not making the cut I'd say he's worth bringing up in the conversation, alot of good lineman go unseen glad he got some spotlight otw out great run bro but you had 2 more in you
Absolutely 💯🦅
How can you not be a Jason Kelce fan ? You may not be an Eagles fan, I'm not, but the man put his heart & soul into being the best center the league has ever seen & you gotta respect that.... Best wishes, Mr. Kelce & good luck to you, your wife & your 3 beautiful girls...
Glad I could be the 62nd like 😢
As a Cowboys Fan. I respect Jason Kelce . I could say thus is the same feeling I had When Travis Fredrick had retired. No one remembers Travis Fredrick . I felt hard when he had to leave due to his illness. They were a true centers. They were greats
Couldn't agree more
@@loosemonk1084 I'm a diehard Eagles fan, and I remember Travis Fredrick and his elite talent well. You hope to God you get guys like Jason and Travis on your team. Highest character, highest football IQ, highest talent.
It's hard saying goodbye to things you have a passion for.
No one is talking about how poetic this speak was. Beautifully inspiring. Deserved a standing ovation!
😢Today we lose a great center. But today a great Dad starts teaching his girls some great football. Thank you for being the leader that you are. God bless you and your family.
Seahawks fan here to say this man epitomizes what it means to be a professional football player. You don’t have to be an eagles fan to love this man.
As another Seahawks fan, I second this.
as a niners fan, i agree
As a Packers fan I agree also. Doesn’t matter I loved watching The Eagles play and Jason. Wishing Jason and his family the best rest of their lives. He will not be forgotten, but it will be hard watching The Eagles play with him not there. Love you Jason
The last heartfelt, moving and inspirational speech for a tremendous player. The occasion is bittersweet as opposed to his Super Bowl parade speech. I love his anecdote about the woman carrying the ashes of a loved one at the parade. He clearly put as much heart into his city off the field as his fantastic career as a player.
Congratulations on a wonderful career, Jason.
We haven't seen the last of him! Hall of fame speech?
My inspiration as a center myself. Sad to see him retire on a bad note. I will miss you 62
You should wear his number. Linemen rarely get proper appreciation
@@Dadbot maybe
Nah nah naaah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye
Go get it man!!!! He put out a greta small video the other day on blocking techniques.
@@travisoshea Thanks man
This is the kind of person any parent can hope that their child looks up to he is a role model just so many
Crazy that Donna kelce birthed 2 kids that became the best players of all time at their position in the NFL.
Jason just said what every mom, dad, brother and teammate would dream to hear. What a lucky and blessed group of people. The Kelces are pure gold ❤
5 years and counting. See you in the hall of fame, Kelce.
Guaranteed first ballot
This guy is loved by literally everyone. Even people I know at work that don't watch football know about this. This guy one of the good ones
Jason Kelce is one of the best to ever play the position. Legend. He'll be missed.
just weird that he is going from 1st team all star to retirement in a few months. nice chap tho
This man has made many grown men cry today. Congrats on the career and enjoy retirement.
An Open Letter to Jason Kelce.
Been a Philly fan since the days of Buddy and Reggie. You’ve been a warrior and a leader for every one of your years on the team. You brought charm and dignity and fire and heart to your position and elevated your team.
Thank you, sir.
Enjoy your well-earned retirement. We’re still rooting for you, even after the last whistle has been blown. Health, happiness, and kindness to you and yours.

Thank you Jason Kelce for your EVERTHING you gave to football. You are the measurement by which ALL players should aim for.
I’m not even an Eagles fan and I’m heartbroken. What a human, model of a person, player and father.
If you didn't shed a tear watching this you ain't human.
My favorite player ever! Happy for him. Don't know about tears...
@@Andrew-Comi really the dude hasn't known anything else but football it's like losing a loved one. I guess you aint human.
I did not. I was ready to turn it off. The literal sobbing was kind of extreme.
Im bawling😭😭😭😭
Some people are just dead inside bro.
That was very painful to watch. Jason Kelce is a real man making the best decision for himself as a father and husband. Respect from Chiefs nation to a real man!
Once you realize you'll never play organized football again, it is definitely is an OVERWHELMING EXPERIENCE. This press conference is incredibly relatable for anyone that has played the sport at any stage.
I can relate if only a little, only played thru high school. Though I think the same can be said for any sport.
That’s cute imagine having served 15 years in the military
@@Ricardo-ze3bcDude you’re pathetic
When he said the part about the freshly mowed grass clippings and how they smell. I immediately started crying. I think everyone who has thrown shoulder pads on knows exactly what he's talking about.

As a life-long diehard Chiefs fan my whole life, I have become invested in Jason's career obviously because of Travis, but being a subscriber to New Heights has brought a whole new administration for Jason. He is a man who loves his wife, his kids, his brother, his Mother and Father, and hands down the entire Eagles staff, coaches. I love you Jason!!! Much love and respect 🙌
Pats fan here. Much respect for this future HOF. Absolute legend.
As a lifelong Dolphins fan, I am tearing up at what I believe to be one of the greatest human beings to play this game. Hell im tearing up.. You are an inspiration as a teammate, football player, man; you're a "dude's dude." Even though this is one of the most difficult moments in your life, I felt like i was just listening to another human being pour their heart out about their life lessons, memories they'll never forget, and be 1000% raw with who they are. No regrets, just appreciation for those around you and with you. I'm very glad i was able to watch, listen and experience tall 40 minutes and 50 seconds of this video. Jason, thank you for what you've done not only for this sport, but for showing all those watching. This is how it's done, even if you're retiring! #GCOAT
I was born in Northeast Ohio. Akron to be exact. And in that community, there was one common creed, and that was this...nothing is given. Everything is earned. To see Jason and Travis Kelce have the success that they have had, knowing that they had to work twice as hard to achieve the goal they want to reach, they both epitomize what Northeast Ohio is all about. Jason, thank you so much for being that one who represented Northeast Ohio in the manner in which you
Have. God bless you, I hope you will still play ur sax!!!
So very true...NEO breeds toughness and realness...Jason and Travis have earned their way for sure.
Its good to see people who never forget where they came from be an inspiration for those coming up after them.
Love you 62, thank you for everything. Enjoy the life and family you built, hope to see you on sidelines in a few years as Coach Kelce.
Only the devil can hate Jason Kelce
LOL hey! Hell even the devil loves Jason Kelce
Amazing heartfelt speech. There were times I didn’t think he was going to be able to finish. I actually hoped he would change his mind halfway through the speech. Sundays won’t be the same without 62 on the line. Thank you Jason for all you have done and sacrificed for a football team that I have loved from the time I was a child. My dad was my biggest influence when it came to sports. Of course, with one television in the house you watched with dad wanted to watch, or go find something else to do. I never missed the high school football game. I would cheer my heart out and celebrate, and sometimes cry, but I never gave up on them. I feel the same way about the Eagles. I’ve never been to the stadium to see a game live, but I won’t miss one on television
Enjoy your retirement. Spend time with your beautiful wife and adorable little girls. I know this isn’t the end for you. We will definitely see you somewhere either on the field or announcing a game. That’s strange to have such strong feelings for someone you never met. I’m happy for you and sad at the same time. Take care. Just remember you are so so loved. 💚🦅💚
As a Raiders fan, thank you Jason for all that you've done, both on and off the field. Happy for Philadelphia fans being able to cheer and support this man for 13 seasons.
Thank you, Jason. Best center in the history of the NFL.
We need many more Jason Kelce’s in this world. What a great person. Hard to measure up to what a class act he is.
Jason Kelce is the “only” center in the NFL/ on the Philadelphia Eagles that I known by name because of his play on the field and I’ve been a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles since 1992. Not only have I been a fan of his career but I’ll follow him on his journey wherever it goes. Thanks for your years of play Kelce #62!
Enjoy retirement with your family. You have a superbowl ring. No need to put your body through that anymore. Why risk another injury. Spend time with your little girls. Don't be sad.
Tears are a good thing. It means he is owning his feelings.
Tears are a good thing since it means he is owning his true feelings.
Congrats on a fantastic career Jason. Not an eagles fan nor have I ever been, but I’ve always been a Jason kelce fan. Always will too.
That was tough to watch....big respect for the man. Save your health and go spend time with the family
Glad he got to have this press conference to do it officially
Very few times in life will you ever have the privilege of watching someone with that much passion for what they do. Never been an eagles fan, but I can't help but root for this guy. KC fan! I love the big guy 💯 not just for being a big brother to Trav, but because of the incredible man Jason Kelce is! He will go down in history as one of the best to ever do it. He's an extraordinary player, husband, father, brother and son! Family is all that matters to him whether it be in the locker room or at home. Hard to watch. The passion is visceral. He’s one of the GOATs.
I never knew of Jason Kelce until he & Travis played against each other in the Super Bowl. I'm so thankful such a big deal was made of it bc I've gotten to know such a wonderful man & his family. It's truly heartwarming to see the love & respect they have & show for each other & their football fam. Although one door has closed, I can't help but see so many more opening for Jason. Great player, amazing energy, and he got his SB ring and a loving, supportive wife. He earned his retirement.
Thanks Jason you've earned everything no one can say otherwise
Have loved seeing Jason play and getting to see him and who he is as a person and his family in his podcast and documentary. One of the best things about him is his honesty and his willingness to show his emotions openly. Too much we are told to suppress emotions and not to cry in public. I love that even tho he’s emotional he stuck with his speech and continued. And wow, I love that he really prepared and wrote a decent, thoughtful speech.
I just wanted to give him a great big hug every time he broke down. Jason is such a lovable guy. You can tell how much the game means to him. Not an Eagles fan but a Jason Kelce fan ❤
