Mikaela's character development did a full 180 degrees when she using her privilege to get out of doing jail time. She was always proud of being resilient and independent but the moment the walls started closing in on her she turns to her rich father. What's even worse is that she ends up achieving her goals in the end. Mikaela did not deserve that ending.
