Within a few seconds you know the composition is the star of the show. As time goes on it seems to become more obvious that FZ is up there w/ Coltrane, Ellington, Miles Davis and Stravinsky...the playing here is gorgeous tho'.

if I had to guess I would imagine they just didn't have enough rehearsal time to work up some more Zappa stuff. Not exactly the easiest music haha, so I can't blame them

​@@TheSteelDialga precisely. They were a last minute ring in about 3 weeks before. They were touring the Great American Songbook, and just accepted that that's what they had. Added a few Zappa tunes in the time they had and turned up for it. It was great. A huge start to a fabulous weekend.
