The Peninsula Hong Kong is the most iconic hotel in Hong Kong. Although it is pricy, its glamorous and romantic environment attracts crowds of people visiting and dining at this hotel. It was one of my wish list to have all-you-can-eat Sunday Dinner Buffet at The Verandah. Variety, quality and a wealth of culinary styles are the signatures of The Verandah. The lobster, scallop, abalone in soy sauce, truffled mushroom risotto, rack of lamb impressed me the most. Desserts, chocolate truffles, handmade Peninsula chocolate bonbons and Peninsula ice cream were exquisite. 香港半島酒店是香港最具代表性的酒店。雖然價格昂貴, 其迷人而浪漫的環境吸引了許多遊客前來酒店參觀和用餐。在露台餐廳享用周日任食自助晚餐是我的願望清單之一 。多樣性、品質和豐富的烹飪風格是露台餐廳 The Verandah 的標誌。我印象最深刻的是龍蝦、扇貝、日式醬油鮑魚、松露蘑菇燴飯、羊排。甜點、松露巧克力、手工半島酒店巧克力夾心和半島酒店冰淇淋都很精緻。

When we booked the dinner buffet, it was HK$1,028 plus 10% service charge per adult. The date we went, it was increased to $1,078 plus 10% service charge. Finally, the bill charged us $1,028 plus 10% service charge as per our booking price.

Abalone is soooo overhyped… tasteless and tough

Nope it isn't over hyped, it's texture is wonderful, as for the taste, like many food, it depends on the sauce or gravy. Try eating chicken or steak without any salt.
