    Before more ppl telling me that there's a tilt tension knob to adjust the tension 😂. Yes, I know there is a tilt tension knob, both of the chair were set to the same tension. The new Logitech is still stiffer than the original, the original had been used for 7~8 years, so feel free to get the original and the Logitech one and test it out after 12000hours+ of sitting

    • @iHustleLXXXI

      I have the original Embody and the Gaming version and you are correct. The original Embody is not as stiff as the Gaming version. I've had my original for over 5yrs and it is not as stiff as the Gaming version. I don't know if that's due to the age or if it was designed that way. I would imagine that age may have something to do with it but I can't tell. You would need to purchase a brand new original version and the gaming version and perform a test. Who knows, and who really cares? Both the original and the gaming version are great chairs. The gaming version has much more cushioning in the back and the seat pan. Thanks.

    Good review! Body weight and shape plays a major role in what model fits best. I had a hard time deciding between the Embody Gaming Chair and the Cosm. It really came down to having a few more options with the Embody Gaming but it was a super tough decision and I finally just gave up and picked the Embody Gaming Chair. : )

      Thanks =) Yes, Embody is a no brainer for most body types, I would say the Cosm works better for anyone that is 140~150pounds+

    • @iHustleLXXXI

      I think the Embody is the best HM chair and then the next one is the Aeron. The Embody is a one size fits most and the Aeron is limited. You have to make sure you buy the right size and you can’t share the chair with anyone. The Logitech Embody is much nicer than the original Embody like this dude said. It’s a stiffer back and the padding makes it stand out too. I love my Logitech Embody. I’ve had mine for 3 weeks sitting on it 12hrs per day 7 days a week and I used to have to stand up after sitting down in my Steelecase series 1 chair after 3hrs but I haven’t had to do that with my Embody. The pain is gone and I can sit hours a day on the chair without getting up. The Embody should be the next chair in MOMA. It has been around long enough and the design hasn’t changed since 2009.

  • @TheLostBrain
    @TheLostBrain Před 3 lety +3

    You can adjust how easily it leans back. The adjustment for it is the black handle that surrounds the little blue hydrolic up/down switch. While sitting in the chair, lean back and reach over and twist / spin that handle backwards / towards you. Leaning back will get looser and looser until the point it takes no effort to fully recline.

    • @kenccz6074
      @kenccz6074  Před 3 lety

      Hi Michael, yes I tried, I forgot to mention the other handle. It is still a bit stiffer than the old one, so maybe 5,6 usage does loosen up the mechanics of my old chair a little bit more. But thanks for the suggestion!

Bu tI had to upgrade for the adjustable arms, plus get the aluminum otherwise it would be mostly plastic. The seat is nice but has little cushion. But at the relax the back store they sell a perfect seat cushion for way too much. I was going to get the Aeron but the Freedom fits me better. I just like to recline and naturally it adjust. Luckily they'll replace and install the material for 12 years. After that through an Authorized Dealer material is $180-200 and takes about 15 minutes to replace. The Logitech version is sync fabric (available on standard), so it will wear the same, maybe more so since the cushion softer. The Logitech is substantially cheaper direct, but through an AD the standard is way way cheaper. In 2020 I picked up my first Embody for $1000 through an AD, today in 2023 it's closer to $1200.

      Ugh. Another anime pic kid thinking they know everything. Obviously he knows there's tilt tension, just not robust enough. Lol

    Duue you are wrong about the whole stiffness thing.....you are mixing up the tilt tension and the tilt lock(or the tile limiter).....you adjust the "stiffness" through the tilt tension knob, it's on the just below right side of the seat and it's the big handle around the seat height joystick......watch a 3 minute how to video and you will find a new world.....

      @@liualex9329 i just didnt show one of the knob lmao🤣 this is not an instruction video and I expect people who actually buys the chair or both chairs don't need explanation on all the knobs
