The best part of surveying with the Recon (pocket pc) was the bubble pop game. It also had solitaire. We usually call the “electronic transit” a total station or just “the gun”. Thanks for this video.
Hey! I’m 13 and absolutely love archaeology and history. I have a metal detector that I use in the woods, and I always research and keep my finds. How can I become an archaeologist? Is there a way to become just an amateur archaeologist while having another main job?
Anthropology (study of people, cultures, etc.) Archaeology is a subdiscipline of anthropology, History and Geology are are also good fields for perspective archaeologists. Anything having to do with material culture or the study of the objects we give meaning to in our lives can be extremely useful for a potential archaeologist. Good luck
