Charlotte is brilliant in Dune and Dune part2. A great among the acting community.
As a woman I am sympathetic to such issues but there is a visual aspect to casting for both genders. As "talkies" became the norm in the late '20s, there were some silent movie actors who weren't able to transition due to their accents and quality of voice. I remember being a teen in the early '80s and being obsessed with a movie called "Verdict" which Charlotte starred in.

whenever I watch these old interviews, all I see is how blatantly sexist the world was back then.
It was real life not wonky goofy
as opposed to now, where grown men demand to be called women so they can barge into womens spaces. thats perfectly respectful of women
And I see how naturally beautiful women were. No fillers, no botox, no tattoos.
If you look at the world with sexist eyes, everything will look sexist to you.
