Nürburgring CRASH BMW M240i | ADAC Ravenol 24h Qualifiers Race 2 Nordschleife 14.04.2024

During the second Nürburgring 24h Qualifiers Race on sunday 14.04.2024, the BMW M240i with number 653 from Adrenalin Motorsport Team Mainhattan Wheels, crashed at Aremberg during the first hour of the race.
Fortunately the driver wasn't injured.

I do wonder, does anybody have footage of that mass crash involving 4 cars and a lot of oil that happened in Race 2, coming out of Karussell? Don't think there's really a good spot for viewers there, but we maybe got somebody got lucky.

In Race 1, there was a rollover Crash at Wehrseifen. But there was only onboard footage of the car, being upside down already, I dont think anyone has footage from the actual crash happening🤔 And also I dont think, anyone got some from the 4 car crash at "hohe acht"

would it not be safer to have an asphalt runoff so that u could theoretically continue to use the brake and recover? Im not trying to be ignorant and i understand that the gravel is to slow the vehicle down

Maybe its because of the high incoming speed. In case of brake failure you wont be happy if its tarmac 🤔
