i am a samsung user but needed a new phone and phone seller recommended google pixel 7 for me, it should work as well as a samsung s23+ and have the same expectations as i thought and now i am waiting for my new google pixel 7 to arrive, hope it is as it is expected to be

The screen turns on/gets activated with a simple movement of the phone as you pick it up & swipe your hand OVER the phone...you do NOT need to touch the screen!

Im switching from Iphone to Pixel, and for someone whose an Iphone from the begining of its time to Iphone 12 its good to see how the Pixel works as im drawn to the 7 and 7 pro. Stupid as it sounds Iphone is so basic so im not used to anything extra. New Iphones nothing new every release and im drawn to Pixel. Thanks, can refer to this when mine arrives!
I bounced from iPhones when the iPhone 5 came out (2012), it was the same phone I'd been using since 2007. I got the Galaxy S3 and never went back to apple. Few more Galaxies after than and now switching to Pixel 7.
It's funny how you think iphones are basic because that's what you've always used but to me, iphone's are a little tricky to understand because I've always used Android 😂

You can group it on the main home page but not in the page when you swipe up and it shows all the apps

What thought i find a little bit weird, is that when you are not swiping back out on the mid left to go to the menu before, sometimes the only way to move back in your video is clicking the top left, right ? I imagine that is not nice to use for a right handed person ? I hope you understood my question, Coming from an 5 year old Honor phone and i think about buying a Pixel but i dont know how i'll be able to handle all those swipe stuff without home and backwards buttons. cheers

Oh my, I want toTurn off sound for shutdown with just power button Pixel 7. I can turn it on and off with no problems but it makes loud tones. Please advise. The man at Google support had no idea! I want to just use one button and anyway volume up and power does not do any better, still tones are there and loud but not start up and shutting down. I like the phone loud. Please advise. Thanks

I slow my training videos down to .75 Touch the 3 dots upper right on video, choose a speed choice that appears. You can choose twice as fast, or half as fast. I like .75 when I'm learning something new.

I'm not happy with it. Had a galaxy s22 ultra. It was stolen got this pixel 7 to replace it. I will never buy another google pixel after using this one. Horrible experience with it

@@charlesdale1428 Same here, idk if I’m liking android. It’s just taking some time to get used to. It’s great overall, it’s the smartest phone I’ve ever had but it’s missing apples ease of use. Android just doesn’t get the little things right. I keep finding myself using my iPhone instead of the Pixel.

Yes, I set up my Pixel 7 without the Sim. You will see the option to skip sim and setup via internet.

Just my 7 in yesterday, 01/28/23, and it didn't come with a charger block. Only a data cable that is also used to charge if they had sent the dang block. 🤐 Thank You for your time on this video. I will checking your channel for more Pixel 7 vids. 😉

its really not, i really love how the pixel looks on the outside, but i've tried this operating system and in my opinion its very very very cheap. I suggest you try the operating system before buying it

A few questions...
*1* Can you get rid of the day/date in the upper left on the main "home" page? You're unable to place apps/icons there & the space it totally not usable. It remains on the "HOME" page that takes up approx a 1x1 app icon, but BECAUSE of it there, NOTHING can be placed on the entire top row! I did NOT notice it on your phone. When you CLICK on it, it opens a calendar. You're unable to hold, swipe & remove it.
*2* You can't relocate the Google search window to up higher on any home screen, NOR can you get rid of it altogether? With that in mind, can you select a different SEARCH option other than Google?
*3* Can you add an addition page/home screen if that's what they're called, but to the LEFT of where you MAIN home page is? Or simply, can't you just select which of all the pages you've set up to BE your "home" page? I've got e/thing set up/organized, but I would like ANOTHER page to the LEFT of my "main" page that it opens up to.
*4* How to replace the 4 apps/widgets that stay constant at the bottom of every page. Each time I try to swap one out, it takes NUMEROUS attempts...it tries to establish a FOLDER or keeps rejecting it, or if I move it to "REMOVE" up top, it AUTOMATICALLY replaces it with s/thing TOTALLY random.
