Heyas Kev.I.N i know this was your first time finding the Canal DA area and you discovered more on other vids. At one time where that new fenced place is an old guy used to stand on the beach with his pick up truck selling fresh fruit from his farm, nothing fresher than in the whole of Sidari. Yup the green stinky lagoon is also mozzy heaven 😅 walk very fast over the bridge 😂 I have to admit i prefer the Canal area over the strip, but its horses fot courses. Fagins used to do quiz nights and drag dj night at one time too. Also on that headland just before your vid ended there is a remembrance stone for a young (Albanian?) Life guard who drowned saving some bather/s who were in trouble. The locals keep his memorial stone in good condition with flowers etc. Cheers DougT

We went last week in April. Lovely people, but we went to early. Most bars & restaurants don’t open until the first week in May. We stayed in the Socrates Hotel. Great staff, Socrates, Demetrius & Leo were very good. Get well soon!

I been there twice i was there last year and stayed at koursaros apartments
You must have thought it was okay to go back a second time. We are staying at the koursaros apartments in a month , How did you find it . Many of the Greek lsle places are quite similar and basic but that's part of the charm for us. If we wanted fancy trappings we would go else where.
@ph5056 the apartments are basic there only came once to changed the bedding and cleaned our room the day after we arrived there only emptied our toilet bin once which was full the food at the apartments was cold when we received it the bbq night as a greek night was not good the owners only talk to people who go back year after year to them unless you are spending ya money at there bar overall i would not go back to that apartments when you go you need to go into cargo restaurant and bar the food in there is amazing and sea breeze food is excellent too
@@matthewholdsworth thanks for the info and the tips...it's no problem for us we will just use it for sleeping/ showering and if I'm feeling generous I may order some pool side beers and snacks..we treat as we are treated : ) all the best , cheers

There is a place to rent mobility scooters, but the people who hire them genuinely need them!

I'm glad it looks flat with my walking Problem ,I think I could walk 5 mins to a bar Then maybe Another 5mins to Another ,But I'd Avoid the Tribute Acts like the Plague ,Find somewhere too chill .
