how exciting! my family and i spent a few days in Playa Cambutal in 2023 and it is breathtakingly beautiful. it does put an ache in you, it's so beautiful. i hope to live part-time in that part of the world in the next few years. thank you!!

What a smart young couple. always a solution:) We have similar goals. in bocas Deltoro Island Cristobal. I found some locals with no water or sewer; it is no way to live. A community well places to shower and use the bathroom for them is my goal. I am close to retirement and ocean front lots in that area is reasonable.

It possible in many places in Panama!
Very common in small communities that do not have a lot of expats. I have a 3 bed, 1 bath with nice size yard in a very safe neighborhood in Aguadulce and rent it for $300. They said $150 for 2 bed and in a remote location, so that's totally doable.
What's the best way to get there from Panama City, not necessarily the fastest. Do you need to travel to Panama City for any supplies?
you can fly to Pedasi then get a taxi to the area. Or you can take a bus from Panama City to Chitre, then take a bus to other areas in the Azuero Peninsula
