You have some of the best tutorials out there, man. You show the effects at the beginning and get to the point without wasting a lot of time. Great work.
One thing I would love to see, though maybe it would take up more time than it's worth for creators, is to show three or four examples of where and how to use the effects, uh, *effectively*. haha Would be good for people with no imagination like me. lol. Knowing how to do the effect is one thing. Knowing how to use it well is another.

Haha well I actually went to school to preach and teach. So I learned really good skills there. And then I learned in premiere pro, but then once I switched to resolve no one was making good, easy to understand tutorials that were also fun and short. So I taught it to myself and then taught others

Crop worked to remove the borders, but I still get a border after converting to a compound clip. Can't seem to get rid of that one. Shows up in renders too.

Hey Billy, Love all the help you put out with this program! When im doing this effect the black boarder around each drop shows up only after i render the final video out. Ive tried doing the crop 50 on all sides and it still shows the boarder on the final render but not inside davinci. Any ideas? Thanks

You have to definitely crop the edges of the inkblot frames or you will get the lines before you make a compound clip i learnt the hard way

Thank you very much for this superb Tutorial, but the method seems a bit complex ...
I followed this tutorial to the tee, did the cropping and compound clipping but when I get to the video footage over lay and switch the composite to ADD the footage still has a bleed through on the ink drop effect. Is there a work around? I'm using a .PNG as well as a .JPG image to have the ink blots uncover the image.
