I'm also of Jamaican heritage (both parents born and raised in Clarendon parish). Pointing the finger at whites for all this evil does not cover the whole story. Millions of us were delivered into the hands of white racists by black Africans. It was called a slave TRADE. Africans risked their lives to hunt down, capture men, women and children to sell in exchange for guns, alcohol, textile and cheap trinkets. The slave trade would never have happened on the horrific scale it did without the very deep and close collaboration of local Africans.

If you are an African American reading this, know that your brothers and sisters in Africa hold no hatred or grudges what so ever against you. You are always welcome home.
The only issue some have against you is the fact that, you are sons and daughters of survivors. The strongest amongst the slaves cos so many couldn't make the journey and for you guys to downplay that by hating and killing each other in the states, hurts Soo many of us.. You all are the same family God damnit.
Back home the continent is made up of over 500 thousand tribes. Ghana alone has over 50 tribes but we put all our differences aside and live as one people. Yes we do have misunderstandings sometimes, but that isn't enough to kill another brother over some gang shit.
United we stand, divided we shall fall. Imagine how strong the black community would have become if y'all were to simple love each other. Remember the black wall street and all them black panther movements.
Stop the hating on each other, it is the weapon our common enemy is using to divide us.
    Africa will rise

Well, many of us do not want anything to do with Africans. Africans, after all went out of their way to sell black men, women and children into the trans-atlantic slave trade. It is estimated between 12 and 20 million people were dragged from Africa during this sordid business. Even today, with modern logistics and transportation, a forcible movement of so many people could not take place without deep cooperation from local Africans. You may not hold a grudge against us, but many of us hold one against black Africans.

Kept in darkness denied water or food and had to stay in their own excrement. There are people in the poorest villages today who walk a mile to the waterhole to have a wash twice a day, so imagine the violation when they were not allowed to bathe.

The castles were initially built as trading posts that changed hands with European competitors. They later used it to keep slaves from the hinterland when their priorities changed as a result of rising labor in the Americas!

The explaination of how they stripped people of who they were and are is needed. They did not show them in their original garments, but showed them as sub human who came from 'jungle' with no clothes, etc still to this day we have children who don't even know who they are. Facts.

It would be nice if some of these Pan Africans would use the term “sold “ more than “Captured “. It’s annoying to hear and sounds like deception.
