I'm glad you did a promo on these because I was very interested in getting them. Since you gave them a thumbs up I will order them. Tangled lure hooks in rod sleeves was my biggest pet peeve. Looks like these will solve that for sure.
I have the mesh kind and I like the fact that they come off easily when I pull my rods out of the locker. They stay in the locker as I slip the rod(s) out. I got them because rods get scratched up by the tube racks. The sleeves prevent that. Also great for preventing tangles in other locker without a rack, of course. Hook covers/bonnets prevent exposed hooks from cranks from tangling or getting embedded in the mesh sleeves 99% of the time.
$20 a piece? I'll stick to the ones I have, a pack of 10 for $8. I have 22 rods so spending $440 on rod sleeves would be just silly. BTW, my rod sleeves have nylon loops sewed into the end# to hook over your reel handle so they stay on. Then if you get those little lure wallet# from Bass Pro your lures don't get caught in the rod sleeve ... I guess if I was a sponsored pro getting free t@Cole this would b3 great ...

I’m going off topic but I just want to say bass fishing was a sport , ride around looking at the banks trying to find the bass and then we had to figure out what lure was best for that day to catch ‘em , this is what bass fishing was all about and this is what made it so much fun , it was like a puzzle that your mind had to figure out , but now bass fishing has become a video game and it’s truely sad no longer a mystery , now it has become a video game console for a bass boat , and for the guys that are for it should not waste their money buying a rigged out bass boat , y’all that like it can by pass the boat rigged and go to Game Stop and buy the console and the game and fish with it , there is no need to launch ur boat either you can stand up on your deck and enjoy fishing in the front yard with your boat on the trailer , cause this is what y’all love so much and guess what you would not even need any gas , think of the money you would save , I really think BASS should build this video game and fish the tournaments from the console too , this is what you guys have done to our sport , a bunch of dumb video gamers

Have one on my spinner, absolutely love it! I definitely recommend this product.

Only issue i've had with the plastic rod sleeves were the guides poking through and getting hung up. I'll stick with the cheaper ones.
