Barnsley fan here, you've got a class manager there. Coming back and winning when you're not at your best takes character, and you've shown that all season. It was a tough result to take but I'm glad that you lot got your long-awaited return to the championship, just a shame it had to be against us! Hopefully we meet again next season.
Cheers and Barnsley are a very good team, we always expect a hard game against you lot and that's exactly what last night was again. The last month or so it's felt like we've had a cup final every single week playing most of the top 6 and we've had to really dig deep to get over the line. Good luck in the lottery of the playoffs, hopefully you go up this year after just missing out last year.
Play like that in the playoffs you have every chance,probably the best away team performance this season i've seen!

Just want to say a big thank you to John Mousinho. What he's done so early in his managerial career is absolutely brilliant, getting us on our longest unbeaten run and to win League One in his first full season as Pompey manager is absolutely incredible. A really great summary of all the effort from so many people which has gone in to make this season great. PUP
Thought the Eisners had dropped a clanger appointing a completely inexperienced manager and we might just make playoffs at best. What a brilliant job from everyone at the club getting us up to the championship and proving the doubters like me wrong! Even when we had a wobbly patch and could've folded like in previous seasons, we didn't and just kept rolling on. Fantastic stuff!

I do wonder if the Eisners will open the pocketbook a little with Premier League football suddenly on the horizon. Not that I think they'd harbor realistic ambitions of achieving that next season, but maybe a three year plan?
