The change in sound after a few miles of driving is more down to the ECU recalibrating after the mid pipe replacement....good value mod I agree 👍🏼

Downpipe and resonator delete were the only exhaust mods I did for my s3 and the sound was enough. Obviously full turbo back gonna be louder but for me this was enough. Your car sounds fantastic by the way.
Except the 2L EA888 sounds like literal ass....and that's coming from a guy who had a stage 3 S3 8V 😂.

@@troy_19_ I love the look of the RS5 for sure, but the value in the RS3 is absurd, and the motor is so damn capable. Stock is fast already, but it doesn't take much to get it walking exotics. It's almost dumb haha

No, no code was thrown for the secondary cats. Only when you go catless for downpipe you will have a code

I just got mine January 27th and there was a CTS catless downpipe on it already but no mid pipes yet. I find that when the engine is cold, it sounds a little tinny and of course, yes I know, Its aluminum block. Just wondering if you thought the same when it's cold. Also doesn't pop and gurgle as much when its cold but ive scared a couple older people at the gas station after filling up. More than once, ooops.

Nice upgrade from the b8. I’m on the fence of getting the rs3 coming from my s3 or a b9 s4 Becase it’s a bit bigger and sounds really good as well.

@@raccs600lmao S4 obviously if ur not getting an RS3. An S3 is a waste of a car it has no space and it’s slower than the S4. If you got a Rs3 over it that would make sense. But the S4 sounds better than the S3, is faster and has way more space.
@@Christopher.Moltisanti granted I did go with the s3.... way more tune able power & Im single lol so I didnt care for space. & its slower by like 30 hp which I made up for already

Do a resenator delete also. By deleting the resenator and mid pipes really wakes up the sound levels on the factory rs3 muffler

Anyone have a suggestion on something less loud or deeper etc. I don't think I could take clients out or pull up to a more professional style meeting. Or just tune and keep stock....? we all say that :) does the stock offer different modes for loud vs comfort?
This doesn't affect the factory valved muffler. Comfort mode will be quieter than dynamic.
How much HP you gain with just a tune? I drive 15 M4 but really thinking about rs3... subbed , exhaust tone is perfect. stuck mufflers with downpipes :) I prefer stealth mode...

Why didn't the tech loosed the bolts on the clamp?. Sounds good though
The bolts were loosened, but they were rusty and we didn't have any spare bolts. So we didn't want to risk of breaking the bolts

Hi-Performance exhaust systems enhanced incorporating Hi-Flo 200/100 cell CAT's is a win-win all around. . Installed a modern-day X-pipe w/200 cell CAT's in my "last of the air-cooled" '98 911 Carrera S (993) .. Replacing the heavy, 20-something-year-old, 1990's tech, factory CAT's. . Hi-Flo version CAT's are a big plus; Both audibly and seat-of-the-pants performance. . I'll be joining the '22 RS3 crowd soon enough having a sedan on order. .The new daily driver! . Daytona Grey Pearl metallic never looked so good.

It is a stage 1! You have to call in and ask for a custom tune

APR is the worst exhaust system, they're expansive but garbage.
I think APR mostly focus on the power output rather than sound or style generally. But yea I agree their exhausts generally aren’t my favourite
Generic ass video title. It’s not the best mod by far, typical car youtube channel milking every single part like everyone does, only clowns think a resonator delete is the best mod.
