After doing this on all my other cars I knew I would need led headlights in my Suburban. I always tint my windshield and with that need a good bright head light bulb. In this video I show you how to put the brightest headlights in a Chevy Suburban. This will work on 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe. This is a Simple process by does require a little time. I replace the low beams, high beams and fog lights. After we get the headlights installed I decided I wanted to remove all the Emblems on the Suburban. To finish it off I also wrap the ugly gold bowties or chevy emblems with black vinyl. At the end of the video you get to see it all finished with the tinted windows and windshield.

Oh yeah this morning you can buy new stereos that are all touchscreen they plug up everything like it’s factory they will give you a big old monitor and it’s custom braided into your dash you have to see it it doesn’t look cheesy or anything nothing sticking out it looks like it’s factory in your dash
FYI an easier way to check the daytime running lights is to put something on top of the light sensor to block it and hit the unlock button on the key fob, could also do ignition on engine off and use neutral gear instead of drive.

Change the front turn signals with switchback led white normal and bright amber when turn signal on thats a huge difference! I have done it to my 07 avalanche and looks amazing

couldn't agree more. just installed LED high beams in my 2011 fusion (previous owner installed LED low beams but didn't put highs in 🤦) and it was so satisfying to have high beams that actually made a difference lol. It just makes the whole car feel more modern

I tint the front with a reflective. Pretty high percent.. But with the sides and rear tinted it makes the front darker. 35 on front doors and 20 rear.

Did the 9005 leds not get stuck with the frame work because with my experience some of my leds did get stuck with the framework in the past

@@TWAMotorsports I have 14 suburban and I installed the H11's (low beam) in the description. They are too long/deep and don't fit well. It bumps up against metal, and there's no flex available. While I was able to force the screws in to re-attach the headlamp, I may need to find something different as it's affecting beam location.

When you replace the turn signal lights to put in the LEDs did they hyperflash? My daughter wants me to put them in her suburban but I am not sure if I need to buy the thing that stops them from hyper flashing.

I followed the link for the H11 low beams. They didnt fit. Maybe the bulb changed? 2011 tahoe. (Fyi)

If I had my windshield done like that. I get pulled over immediately. Then I get a ticket and waste money there and I'd have to remove the tint and waste money there. The Burban looks good. But I'm really not a fan of weight The new GMC 2024 off-road red that's pretty hot. I've been thinking about having the Tahoe painted.

Question: My H11 continues to burn / melt the connector. I have now purchased my 3rd headlamp harness and in a manner of 4 days it has damaged the new harness connector. I’m now looking into installing LEDS

To make it easier to loosen/remove rear bolt on headlamp assembly, pull down on bumper and use extension...

I just got tint on my pickup 35 on side and 15 one back window. Would go darker but I do a lot of night driving. It still is much better then no tint at all

Lights look great. I have a 2010 avalanche that I want to upgrade the lights on. Have bought the updated lights you mentioned on amazon (those indicated to fit my vehicle by amazon). However, learned they are not technically allowed on roads. Only use for off roading. Have you ran into any issues with the lumens on these lights? How have the done in three years? I love the look of them

I have an 09 and bought the beamtech led set as I've always used them. Unfortunately won't fit in the lowbeam location due to the core support. Did yours clear without issue?

I tried installing these led headlight bulbs in my 2012 Tahoe and the fan part kept the headlight from being able to go all the way back in? It was hitting an upright metal piece that I think was part of the fender or radiator support.
Mine were close but didn't hit.

Check out the last video I did on the suburban when I fixed the front bumper. I used a new kind that has no hyperflash
At idle is 30psi oil pressure consider normal? I have the same car at idle it’s at 30psi and then when I start driving it goes up to the middle 40psi.

I think it's easier and may be cheaper to upgrade to a flasher relay that's compatible with led bulbs. I switched mine out on my silverado for about 25 bucks or so. Located under the dash on driver side.

That’s what I was going to do. Just replace the flasher relay but I read that my model (2013) didn’t have that relay. It said it went through the computer. Idk

my mom has one of these, i believe its a 2011, i was also told its a rare south color being baby blue, we're in new Hampshire so not sure how true that is cause ive never heard of area specific vehicle colors before lol

I love LED lights but not for headlights because where I am we get lots of snow and ice and well the LED doesn't get warm enough to keep the snow and ice off the headlights or taillights for that matter so its hard for you to see and anyone else to see you. I have first hand knowledge as my Dad was a truck driver for years and the taillights get covered so easy which makes it impossible to see them he had to stop every chance to clean them so he switched back to regular bulbs and prest o change o it solved the problem

I don't understand why on my 2009 Suburban the DRLs don't come on, when I move the button to select the DRLs they only turn the turn signal lights on as if they were the DRLs

Probably not 35 then
My 35 on the sides is not that dark ether. It depend on what light it is in. One way you can see right throw the other you cant. I'll think it's just all on lighting.

It mostly depends on how dark the other windows are. I have 40% on both my windshields and they look completely different. One truck is 10% all around and the other 15 on front sides and 5 over the factory tint in the rears. Guess which windshield looks twice as dark.
Purchased the headlights from your link... the headlight housing does not fit back on the vehicle with this bulb.
@twamotorsport did you modify the bracket behind the light to allow for room for the bulb?
Those are the bulbs I used that I linked. I didn't have to trim at all.
Further investigation has proven that the previous owner replaced the headlight housings with aftermarket Chinese knockoffs. Thanks for the quick response!

How is visibility at night on unlit country roads? I really want to do 35 percent windshield, and get a medical exemption so that its legal. Do you ever get pulled over for windshield tint aswell? I have LED bulbs with ok visibility but not projectors or modern like car headlights.
Visibility at night is ok. I'm used to it though. I have not been pulled over for it.
TWA Motorsports so its very quick to get used to, as well as it more of a just smoked view without glare or does it feel like a piece of paper or something is in front of your eyes?

I have a 2013 Tahoe, which has the same grille, lights, bumper, etc. Did the new LED daytime running lights cause any issues with the vehicle's onboard computer or other electronics components? Also, with respect to the turn signals, did you replace the flasher unit with an electronic type to prevent hyper-flash? Lastly, what about eh 4-way flasher unit? Wouldn't that also have to be upgraded to electronic type to keep compatible? Thank you in advance for your feedback.
No issues but did have hyperflash. The bulbs I put in when I replaced the front bumper did not. Check that video out

Thanks for showing us how great these lights are. Our suburbans are kinda opposites mine is a black 2012, and I want to do a 4inch BDS lift. However it has Nivomat self leveling shocks in the rear and it is making things difficult. Which suspension do you have? No one seems to touch the auto ride/magnaride. Will you have these problems when you lower yours? Thanks in advance. Maybe we will see each other if your near St. Charles. Great videos.
Thank you. Mine actually doesn't have autoride but I did have it on the last Tahoe I lowered. You can buy bypass options for them however

Pretty much. Just a resistor that makes it think it is there.
I got all my lights in and ended up having the “hyper flash” with the blinkers. I’ve ordered the 50 ohlm load resisters for them to stop the flash. Did you have to get them?

If you do led signal lights then they blink faster unless you do all your signal lights with LED's.
Some bulbs have resistance built in to combat that.
Question, you don't get harassed by P.D., Highway Patrol, Sheriff's, or Troopers about the windshield tented? I know anyone who does it takes their chances with having it, but just curious if you have gotten pulled over for it or have gotten a ticket because of it? Don't get me wrong, it looks sweet that way and wish I could do it without getting pulled over where I live in AZ especially in this state in the summer, I would love to have my windshield tented.

@@TWAMotorsports sweet, I have a White 2004 LT 4x4 Suburban I added limo tint to the factory 20% in the rear and added 20% to the front driver and passenger and added a reverse camera because of what you said, it's hard to see out during the night and is a saftey issue when backing up if you don't, I've been debating whether I should get the windshield tented on my suburban but know of others in my area who have had it and reciever tickets but they also have vehicles that attract attention and my suburban just looks like a family vehicle, might try it to see what happens and it could just be a fix it ticket anyway.
